Let's say I want to edit something in Local.cdb. I pick the one that comes with the Daily2011 DB, and edit the stuff. Will I then be able to get the stuff into a Database who are not based on the Daily2011?
(That sounded better in my head.)

Local.cdb and database are two different things. if you switch to another DB you would have to switch the local.cdb as well. If you don't, then yes, you would have all the stuff from that local.cdb. But you woudn't have it in the database, it would be in the game, for example the countries or the scouting regions. |

Hey guys, now I've got some doubts relative to STA_stage, what does these tables mean:
gene_i_num_ravitos;
gene_f_spline_length;
gene_b_ladder_stage and also gene_sz_stage_ladder;
gene_sz_stage_md5 and gene_sz_stage_ladder_md5 (these are the most 'wtf' ones).

Edit2: and to the probably last of my questions for a nice time... I've added the race, copying the tables I don't know what means from another race. My race is a 1.2 classic happening on January 9th. But I went to 'classic' mode and the race wasn't there! But I tried to start a career and it was there. I wasn't subscribed, but asked a wild card, was accepted, played the race normally. Why it doesn't appear in single race mode? Thanks.

Ravitos is the number of bottles at start of stage. I cannot remember if pcm09 still uses that.
Spline, I don't have a clue but I believe that it is not used.
Ladder columns are for ladder game, so it doesn't matter for normal game.
md5 is not important, google md5 if you want to know what it is.
Constants are used so that the game can recognises the race. Not important.
About your last question, maybe you have to add the race to the local.cdb but that is just a guess. |

Thanks for the answer Lachi.
I've figured out what was the problem: it's very clear in PCM 10, not so clear in PCM 09. What happens is you simply can't play .2 races; I've even created a thread about it one time. In PCM 10, you choose the races by class, so it's easy to see you can't choose a .2 race. In PCM 09 it's isn't the same system, so not so easy to see.
Anyway, already changed to 1.1, appears as a playable race now.

Birth date can be edited also the Lenght in cm of the rider and the name. just look around in DYN-Cyclist

Not exactly a DB question, but where are located the 'official' fitness programs? In STA_fitness_program there is a gene_strID_localized_string, but it's just a number.

Hi guys, I'm new to the editing business, just had a few question, how do I edit my balance, as I don't want to be insolvent.  I'm using Lachi's editor and can't find the field Gene_f_solde in DYN_team. I only found Finan_f_solde. If this is the correct field what should I write in it ? I tried writing a value but it was no good, balance remained negative |

I am not sure because I stopped playing this game long ago, but look in the table DYN_manager.
On a side note:
You have to edit your save, which is here: my documents\pcm2009\database\solo\name of DB\ (or similar path)
After editing, you have to "export to cdb" and I recommend that you give another file name to prevent overwriting your original save. Obviously you would need to load the new file in the game to see the changes. |

I don't understand that question. The save is a file. If the file is in the correct folder it will appear in the game.
When you edit and replace your save, you can just load it as if nothing happened. When you give another file name, then you have to select that save in the loading screen in the game.
The location of the file and all the other instructions how to edit is just one post above yours. |
