Another stage where the GC favourites denied the breakaway a win. Some of us got punished for that, some of us didn't. Congratulations to Ollfardh on finding an almost perfect balance of breakaway and GC riders in his picks, winning the stage! Seancoll, as he mentioned himself, with a zero pointer. I tried looking for an inspirationial quote to cheer you up and this is what I found: "We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated". Hope it helps!

Ollfardh rising through the rankings, with seancoll off the podium again now. Left of the names you see the position they had before this stage. Knockout with a silent stage, but still in yellow, with ember still as closest competitor.

Tell me if you spit a mistake!

As Dane Bramage mentioned, it's not an easy stage to predict, and it has lead to some very different scoring. Jaxika wins the stage thanks to a great Wellens prediction, and is now the third manager to score over 100 points in one stage this Tour, congratulations!
Again well done by knockout, as just like me he predicted Campenaerts and WVA, scoring 50 points. Alaphilippe giving three people some nice points as well, where Madouas made sure kandesbunzler did not end up with a zero pointer.

Jaxika obviously with a big leap here, as knockout strenghtens his yellow reign yet again! Again on the left side the positions on the previous stage, so we can see some changes.
Sammyt has been the red lantern for quite a while now, but he's really coming close to handing it over to kandesbunzler or someone else now. Americans have taken the third place since stage 11, but neither of bbl, sean or Ulrich was able to hold it for longer than two stages for now.
And we're back up to date with the final update of the day, S16!
Imladrik making it a double French party as he was the only one picking Valentin Paret-Peintre, making him the fourth manager to score over 100 points in one stage! Jaxika with a second good stage in a row as he collects 80 Buitrago points, whereas I was the only Mas selector, giving me 40 points. Six people got 15 Healy points, with the other points being 4, 3 and 2 coming from Pogi, Vingegaard and Roglic.

Knockout still in yellow ahead of ember, but out of nowhere comes Imladrik! Jaxika also up to fourth after his two good stages, as at the bottom of the table sammy hands over the red lantern to kandesbunzler.

Tell me if you spot a mistake, good luck to all today!
Crazy to still be in yellow. Dont think i will defend it till the end but its an unexpected surprise to be in contention and likely looking at a top half finish
“...the secret of the Great Stories is that they have no secrets. The Great Stories are the ones you have heard and want to hear again. The ones you can enter anywhere and inhabit comfortably."
A. Roy
Stage 17 was a sprint stage, but several thought the break would stand a chance, and it's understandable why. Nevertheless, the sprint teams really wanted this possible final mass sprint, but because of the late crash quite some expected top-10 names also fell out.
Winner Milan was still picked 12 times, scoring eight points per person. NUmber two Meeus has seven selections and scores 12 ppp, but Lund Andresen really was a big name for the stage winner here. Laurens was the only one to select him, scoring eighty points, together with three others selections 100 in total!
Knockout with a great stage as well, nice Dainese points on top of the 60 Ballerini points are good for 96 points. The yellow jersey isn't letting anyone come closer this way! Alex putting Stuyven instead of Van Poppel last minute also sees him score ten nice points.

Good stage by knockout, so he deepens his lead! Laurens now on the podium as well, with the number three constantly changing since like a week. Ember remains in second, but sees the rest of the pack coming closer now.
