what a close finish, never though Johansson would sprint to medal after they got caught the last km´s. |

This fills me with dread for tomorrows Mens Elite race... If it's that easy for the women to come as such a sprint group then the strong sprinters are gonna have a field day tomorrow. Watch Germany to really try and hold it together, probably Aussies and GB to give them some real help at times.
Prevot capping a really great season for her. Johansson surprisingly strong and might feel hard done by. Bronzini just got herself pressed out at the wrong moment, should have been Gold for Italy. But yeah it's just not a tough enough course for this level of pro, comparing it to Plouay seems perfect

Still a medal for Johansson, sweet. That acceleration at the last climb.
Gratz to Prevot and Bronzini as well.
Anyhoo, great last twenty kilometers all in all with one of the best finishes I've seen this year.

Not the happiest bronze medal winner I have seen in my life
I hope she can take a gold medal before she quits! |

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. And here we go with the 4th 4th spot for Italy
If there would was a 4th spots championship we'd finish 4th.

Prevot won! At least we got to see one of the more pretty ladies standing on top of the podium, though I like the national anthem of Germany more than the national anthem of France Well you can't have it all, can you.
Julie Leth did okay, she kept up nearly until the end. This course seems a bit too easy, but let's hope it will result in a lot of attacks. I'm really looking forward to tomorrows race. This course might suit the Danes okay, not too hard which is good. Let's get some gold medal tomorrow guys!
@SportingNonsense
Thanks
