Pretty impressive for someone to beat D.Moreno over a ~300m uphill effort imo.

Not taking anything away from Roche, but Moreno doesn't seem to be in top form, or at least not as good as last year. Could be age-related, of course.

do not forget he was riding tour also..stop that age talk..Smile...this was just first pump. Loosing just 2 sec for day's winner..not bad for me.

Roche kinda took the rest of the riders by surprise. Moreno was on the last spot of the group, if he was right behind Roche he would definitely fight the win till the end.
Henao just said yesterday after the TTT that he would fight for top5, and then he does this... what a shame.

To me one of the three will win it. We will have to wait and see, but it pretty much looks like a 3-4 man race. Sadly I have to follow it on the net. My cable provider no longer has the channel it would be on.

no, probably SPORZA. Wink

@Matrix: Just follow it on the net, near HD isn't bad even though it's EUROSPORT.

Won't finish Vuelta. Sanchez is the only Belkin-rider I have high expectations from this vuelta.

Yet LL S did worse than Ten Dam and Mollema, and that on a climb that actually suited the old LLS (the caisse d'epargne/movistar LLS version that was probably doped)

So no. I doubt he'll do well

Just saw the stage. Great to see a big attack from Konig. I was worried that as a Pro Continental team the temptation would be to sit back and just ride for a quiet top 10.

Hoping for Gerrans to do well on the final climb, got a PCM fantasy bet of 1$ on him because of possibly a good payout.
