Pologne's startlist provisionally announced. Remeber this is first WT race that will have only 6 riders per team. Also Pologne begins in Italy, with 2 tough mountain stages.
In the ITT we will have also a pre face of the Worlds ITT, where Wiggins and Cancellera will be going out for the win.
Finally. I hope many will follow. Why not even try this out with the Vuelta in a year?
Also great to catch a glimpse of the WC ITT already! |

Such a small field for a GT? And then each rider would need to work more, and would be fatigued and abandon more, and we'd have 60 guys finishing the race.

You can earn -30 secs for being in the breakaway (by earning points from int. and moutain sprints), for stage win it`s only -10seconds, so it`s going to be a dynamic race. Can`t wait for it. :)

Less riders per team allows the organizers to gift more wild-cards (dunno if it's case in Ita... Poland though).
It also makes the race more open, as one team can't to all the work, and favours moves and groups. It's much less one dimensional, and I think it's more entertaining this way, without doing any harm to the spirit of sport. |

I've always seen this race as a rather boring one, but this seems to be very interesting. I'll definetely follow it this year. |

Really excited about this year's Tour of Poland, it's a race I really like to follow. I applaud the idea of 6 riders per team, maybe that way it decreases crashes, and appeals for the safety of the riders, and maybe we can get to see more action. Also, there are 23 teams in the race, so I think it's a good decision to have less riders in it. |

Voigt has said that this is his last Tour. Does it mean retirement? |

Don't think so. I heard he'll sign contract with Trek.
He said it's his last Alpe d'Huez, iirc |

That's odd. I thought he signed a new contract with Trek.
Maybe as team manager? |

CrueTrue interviewd Jens and said he'll be racing as long as the team thinks he's useful.
So it's very likely he will be racing next year, whether he's good enough to race the Tour, remains to be seen.

Don't see why he wouldn't be selected next year if he has similar form as this year
