I hate this opinion, which is very common. Cycling would benefit the most if all the dopers (former too) were caught and never allowed to be closer to a bike than 10metres and if sport was 100% clean, or at least close to that percentage.
Cycling has 0.00 credibility anyway, so we better start soon...
Honestly anyone who thinks that flying up the mountains Froome style is humanly possible without PEDs should probably change sport and go watch darts or whatever.
Why do you that the opinion? As far as I am concerned, he doesnt say the he hope he doesnt get caught, but he hopes for the sake of cycling that he doesnt dope. I do that as well, even though I think he dopes. Nothing wrong with hoping that Froome doesnt dope in my mind. For all its worth, I hope the whole peloton is clean. |

I knew that before, but does an inhalator have any performance enhancing effects? |

Yeah, Riis has got what I'm saying, I'm saying that I hope that he doesn't dope, if he does dope I want him to get caught. But I don't want him to have doped, because it would ruin the slow rebuilding of cycling's credibility.

Salbutamol, which is what he is taking, is a steroid to help open up your airways and breathe more easily. It will be well known to asthma sufferers

Yeah, hope...
I hope that there is justice in the world and i hope people will actually start thinking about what is happening around them instead of being selfish bastards.
Does my hope has anything to do with reality? NO, because it is only a hope. So yeah, you can hope as you want, but that does not change the fact of clearly visible doping program.

I agree with Riis and trek, hopefully Froome doesn't dope, but if he does I hope he gets caught and punished, as in Armstrong punished and outcast.
Also, I don't like Froome as far as I suspect he could be, but really he seems a all right guy (speeches no) and if he doesn't and there is conclusive proof.
And I don't like Wiggo because of the way he treated Garmin, but he had a point. I like him more than Froome though.
I could write a whole essay/rant on this, but better not.

There seems to be an abnormal amount of asthma sufferers in the pro peloton
If people want proof that doesn't require a positive test then just look at race speeds, they dropped down in the the mid to late 2000's and now are shooting up again, also look at 7 month peaks in performance as a dead giveaway.

Exactly, you can't be in top form from February-July.

It seems that you have low HOPE people. If you have enough hope, even half a year top form is possible, given the special training methods SKY uses and nobody else ever though about them. With that in mind, even attacking the top EPO times is nothing surprising, nor is a proof of any kind.

I highly suspect Froome and Sky of doping, I just hope they aren't for the sake of cycling and all sports.

Personally I can think of valid arguments for and against them doping and I just have to say that I don't know and personally I hope he doesn't. It's my opinion, of course I'm going to hope for the better outcome.
@Eden
Well technically you could be and some riders do (NRS racers) but usually big riders don't.

To be fair, professional cyclists dig pretty deep throughout the season. You can't compare it with the asthma quota of normal population though, but rather it's exercise-inducted asthma.

I know about all that but it's head in the sand stuff to think that the asthma excuse for most is actually asthma

Not sure why it doesn't make sense to you, people will obviously suspect Sky of doping but for the sake of the sport would like to be proved wrong. I know its probably impossible to know if they aren't found out however. |

If having hope makes no sense to you then perhaps we should give up hope for you. To most, hope is important to maintain, even in the bleakest of circumstances, so hopefully it's not completely deserted you...at least I hope so...

Not a chance that will take me all week haha
