The loss of Kennaugh is pretty huge considering the rest of the stages.
Downplaying it so much will be interesting to see what happens now. |

Sagan is a rockstar of cycling, bigger marketing value then rest of the guys combined, especially in the States. I suppose he could become governor of California.

only thing he's done so far is fetching bottles. has been even worse than Roche..

I dont think it will mater much tho, they still have Konig and Roche for the first part of tough mountain stages and Poels, G and Porte (thats the question mark tho) if it gets too hot. Easily still the best team. And lets not discount the 2 big guys either, they seem to be climbing relatively well |

True, if Poels is on form for the rest of the race he is huge for SKY. |

Poels rode pretty well on the last stage. Porte has been inconsistent, as is his wont in GT's. Roche and Koenig not really been going that great, then again I don't feel as if the Movistar, Astana or Saxo domestiques have been that super either. Scarponi, fuglsang, kreuziger, izagirre, kangert have been only on or below with the ancient sammy Sanchez.
I am expecting a nice stage tomorrow though, I think Simon Yates could be a good shout or of course Dauphine Pra loop winner Bardet, though his buggering about going for best French GC rider may scupper his break chances. Would like to see someone give J Rod some KoM competition, not sure who can Froome might even hold the thing into Paris when was last polka yellow winner?

Bernard Hinault in 1982, so a long time ago. This is pretty much an ideal parcours to win both, as there is an overabundance of MTFs while not being many big climbs during the stages. If Sky bothered chasing the break down then Froome would probably win the KoM easily
