Great stuff Bikex!
Eurosport-Pepsi only just hanging on to 2nd CT team in the Prestige Rankings after a couple of useful/surprising 5th places in GC from Julien Simon and Brent Bookwalter.
Hoping for good things from our next focus race Giro del Trentino.

And when things seem to go downhill, Moser takes the white jersey up there in Corsica Bit disappointed about the gc outcome, but that's definitely a result, isn't it?
Well, I'm really really happy with the rankings for Parmalat, around the top spots (3rd and 4th in the various rankings) after that the first 3 months of racing passed by, great effort. That's also true that around the 45% of the points come from only a rider: Moser. Which means that:
A) He's a fuckin' beast! 3rd in the continental ranking, only behind a goddamnly strong Cataldo as for the continental teams, is an impressive result!
B) Rest of the squad is acting particularly crap
And they're both true to some extent. I can only see Barbin catching some really interesting performances so far, I really hope that all the other guys will get better later on. Really delighted about how the season's going so far
Interesting result for Smartone, didn't expect to see them at the top.

We're where I'd expect to be. Hopefully we can nip past LIBDUBUSBDBHJUSBDBJDB by the end of the season.
Can't wait for the U23 season to really get going, though I've enjoyed being 2nd in the rankings for more than two months.

Degenkolb is really doing great on the cobbles. Would be nice if he can take RvV and PR too. Who cares about crap AI when you win.
Hoped for a bit more from Herklotz in Crit Int, but at least Ludvigson got a nice result in the TT.
Really depending on Degenkolb in the rankings at the moment, hopefully Nerz, Aru and Martin can get more points soon too. |

Why didn't I bring Chavenal to Critercum, there must have been a reason.
At least Grivko got a top ten, and De Haes 2nd in Wevelegem.

The triple header was a pain in the ass for me. Horrible planning issue for a team solely focussed on sprints and classics. Game-wise I like it though. It's just not the best for CSC.
And i actually have some expectations for the GTs this year considering that i send one of my big two for each.
My GT line-ups :
Giro: Selig - Ciolek - Kittel
Tour: Turgot - Haller - Kristoff - Sagan
Vuelta: Selig - Haller - Ciolek - Kittel
But it will be difficult to challenge for the title nevertheless.
And it has not been said often enough: Impressive pace Bikex! Really, really great. Thanks so much!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Depends how well Rolland, Bardet and Kelderman handle sole leadership away from TVG. And just general consistency in Stage Races because we are never gonna score in classics or sprints this year

Fantastic update bikeX - once again pleased I voted for you for best story game (sorry Ollfardh - but this is just has less chaos for my mathematical brain).
Saeco had a quieter month just rolling through - The Cat had a bad un at Crit International. Got some nice races this month for him though with Trentino being a big aim and the ZLM tour will be a battle as well.

Okay I'm about to play RVV and I'm basically almost 100% sure that a break will win that race. That of course totally sucks. A solution to prevent this is to chase down the break with my control riders. I would make them stronger and try to chase down the break around ~50-70 kilometres before the finish. The AI will still be weird from then on I guess but at least favourites will decide the winner among themselves which will lead to a more realistic result.
I don't see a big problem with that, but I want to get your oppinion on it as I will manipulate the gameplay that way. Of course I'm also a little biased having a favourite in my team for that race. So please give me your ideas on that and then I'll decide what to do. |

Did you chase in other races? No, then don't start now for the sake of consistency

Personally I wouldn't BikeX - if you want to in races next season by all means for cobbles and hilly classics perhaps?

I don't see a problem with your solution, it's much better than the race being a lottery. And it already worked well in the national championships, if I remember correctly.

It is tempting, but I wouldn't touch it. As the season is flying, we can make changes in the offseason.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

- This is from someone from a team with decent favourites for the cobbled races.
Bikex - Infuriating as it is, just let it be. When we started this season we all were aware that the AI is comparatively terrible compared to previous editions. If you want better AI then go back to the likes of PCM2011 otherwise we should just accept the results which are thrown at us. |

Thanks for all your input. I decided against chasing down, because the majority wanted that and even without that a favourite won and the best out of the break only got 11th. The AI was still crap but at least the favourites caught the break.
I guess because of the route I chose for this season (cobbles until close to the finish) , the favourites were successful in the end.
Result will be up later. |

The question no-one is asking is: "Can we win something this season?" But why is no-one asking this question? Because we're crap.

What a surprise. Breakaway makes it and Dibben wins the bunch sprint behind.
And finally Thomas shows up with a good ride in RvV. Despite not even attacking apparently.
