This seeems stupid but I'm happy Farrar got a top 5 on the stage. At least he showed himself. He better try to get his sprinting back this year.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Nice attempt by Renshaw to steal the win, but Greipel was just too strong.
And JT Slagter takes the overall win

Have to agree, Slagter performed really well in Australia, lets hope he can carry it on into the season |

I think the AGR/LBL are too long and too hard for him though. A top 10 in FW would be the best he could hope for |

Great irony. Rabobank pulls out the plug, not only because of doping but partly also because they always get criticized that their talents don't deliver. Then the follow-up team wins the first WT race of the year with a 23 dutchman from their own youth program.
I find it hilarious
Exactly my thoughts when i saw his performance, great job Slagter!

I just hope he will not always bring the other sprinters down again this year.

Farrar said himself that he had been concentrating on the classics last year, and that was a mistake. Now he's back to being a sprinter. |

Will be intresting to see if Farrar can still be competitive. Sprints got a lot harder last seaso with Greipel, Degenkolb, Sagan and Kittel all stepping it up from the season before.

So Avin was right, speedbumps are the reason.

Good result from Jussi Veikkanen. Some important World Tour points to his team. |

Veikkanen performed very well indeed. Though 4 points aren't that much, it's something. |
