It was the crappiest coverage I've ever seen, that not to mention the stupid commentator.

So it's 4-1 for Lotto now. Pfft

OPQS will definitely have more at the end of season, no starter for me. Greipel is the only guy there that will win, VdB might occasionally while Vandevert will get lot of Top 10, but won't win that much. And some random breakaway victory probably. While OPQS has lots more potential on all fronts.

I think Van den Broeck would be very happy to win occasionally, given that he has just one professional win.

OPQS don't have that many opportunities either. I expect Martin to bring them the most victories.

So it's going to be like Greipel vs. Martin. And there are way more sprints that time - trials throughout the season...

Greipel won't win that much against Cavendish, I'd say Boonen might have a come back year and looks motivated enough to get few victories. Leipheimer is another that will bring victories, especially in those US races. Ciolek looks to be in better form compared to last years too. As well as OPQS crop of young talents looks better, and can get victories in smaller races, Pharma talents could too obviously, but OPQS generally looks better. Add Chavenel to that list too with few possible break wins. While Omega will depend on Greipel for most of the year, OPQS can score more wins throughout imo.

It's very debatable though, should be interesting battle, but QOPS is my definite choice here.

It happens the same to me. It's damn hard to separate Omega and Lotto after this couple of years. Pfft

Seriously though, as much as I see Greipel winning quite a lot, OPQS should end up with more wins, specially if Leipheimer keeps dominating his usual small US week long races, and if their 2nd tier sprinters score a handful of wins throughout the season. And the gap will be even bigger in the rankings.

How can Contador compete so relaxed knowing that he can get embarassed being forced out of the race after the TAS verdict? I'm afraid TAS will be with him in the end Sad (after seeing the pictures, he looks so relaxed I think he knows something)

LE: Sorry, TAS is romanian for CAS.

Even though I don't like him personally, I would act the same.
His job is to ride the bike, if he would worry about the case all the time, then he could as well retire.
It is not his fault that the national and international cycling associations and the CAS took so long with their decision.

He said last year this thing is bothering him, so the question is : did he manage to live with it or does he know something about the verdict?

He won the Giro last year. I think he takes the whole situation rather easy.

Yeah coverege will suck, road cycling is pretty niche in South America except for a couple of countries I think. Fox Sports which is a major sponsor of the Tour only shows a summary at midnight.

The race is pretty cool nonetheless. Dang, I wished we could have a decent international race here in Colombia, the mountains are crazy good to be only used for the Vuelta and El Clásico.

Tour San Luis Stage 2 :

www.tour-sanluis.com.ar/images/etapas2012/Etapa02b.png

Start: 15:00 (GMT 18:00)
Finish: ~ 18:30 (GMT 21:30)

Another sprint likely todau, Guardini was unlucky yesterday with splits and crashes. In sprint I've expect Guardini, Chicchi/Boonen v Haedo fight, but you never know, as proven by yesterday bad weather and crashes.

How hard is that little climb near the finish? Because if it's longer than a few hundred metres I'm quite sure Guardini won't be up there for the stage win. Pfft

Unlikely, but we don't know Guardini form yet and I think he did improve his climbing. Wherever enough I don't know. Cicchi might have some problems too, but his early form looks very good so I expect him to be there at the end.

Chichci makes it double, while OPQS get double too with Boonen's great lead out getting 2nd himself.

1. Francesco Chicchi (Omegar Pharma-Quick Step)
2. Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma-Quick Step)
4. Francisco Ventoso (Movistar Team)
3. Jimmy Casper (AG2R)
5. Sebastián Haedo (Saxo Bank)

Boonen thought he won, and Chicchi was just celebrating Boonen victory. Even OPQS team thought Boonen won till minutes later, lol Pfft

I think that this race might be slightly too easy for the Boonen/Chicchi sprint combination. But anyways, this dominant stage win shows us that maybe this could be their year, maybe some surprise wins in one of the grand tours may be on the cards.

Power show from OPQS, they are my horses this year, hope for Boonen reviving his old days of glory Smile
Funny situation with that celebrating.

Judging by the picture, i think Boonen realises that he hasn't won by the way he's looking at Chicchi's front wheelFrown

It's the opposite: Chicchi is in the leader jersey (he won stage 1), he's looking at Boonen's wheel.
