Poor Nibali had to take part in that race, when he had the opportunity to get a good result in Lombardia.

What happened to him?
Damn, I love this race, so many good riders attending. Basically everyone who can climb well is here apart from a few GC riders.. |

Astana wanted him to participate in this Kazakh race. Probably the most boring race ever, 186 km of cycling up and down a free way six times.

Of course, but it would have been nice to see him in Italy today.

He is in bad shape, still don't think he would have done anything. Though, he said that he would have lijed to race Lombarxia., I think that this choice was bad for him.

Yeah black shorts for Kwiatkowski. Looks way better than all-white WC design.

Contador will not be too upset if peleton does not chase down the break. As long as Valverde does not score points.
Most interested will be
Movistar- They know Valverde can win UCI WT
Katusha- Purito/Moreno has not done great lately, and in Vuelta. They will want a win.
OPQS- To get Kwaitowski 1st win as WC. |

Meh, I would have liked to see Matti Breschel in this race instead of that nonsense in France. This route should suit him well. |
