Other Races 2012

Sure, and it'll prove why this race can never work. The race will be a slow crawl to the finish, with a sprint ending it. Unless it's a TT, in which case the times will be a little slow.

Stupid.

It was a nice sprint. Too bad Kittel didn't participate in the sprint.

Huge win for Kreder. He should secure a contract now with Vacansoleil.

Hmm, completely forgot about Hainan...for obvious reasons. Should have remembered Japan and Chrono Des Nations though...

There's the 2.2 Volta de São Paulo which started today Pfft Where the riders have to wake up at 5am, in order to depart at 7h30 and reach the finish at 10am (because of TV I think) Pfft

Is that the race where the riders ended up in a traffic jam a couple years back?

Honestly I haven't heard of that one, there's little information from the older races but I wouldn't be much surprised if it is Pfft

It's happened a couple times in the last few years when the organizers badly messed up their timing predictions and the police couldn't control it. Once was in the Tour of Korea, I'm almost entirely sure, and I'm also pretty certain it happened in S.A., and Sao Paulo seems a likely place for a race to run into a traffic jam Pfft

I sometimes start work at 5 AM (meaning I have to wake up at 4 AM). Now that's inhuman. Pfft

Tomorrow is the last race in European Tour. Chrono de Nations.

Martin, Phinney, Froome, Kessiakof, Cataldo, Porte, Larsson, Chavanel, Bodrogi and Roy are the big names starting.

It's should be a Phinney - Martin duel. Intresting how Froome will do though.

Good to see the Chrono des Nations getting a strong field. I wouldn't expect much from Froome, he's on the way down since August.
