Thanks for all the congrats about TVG racing out of his mind. Can't be more pleased. I just wanted one stage from this Vuelta to be happy.
So three wins and a Top 5? Ok probably Top 10 finish. This is unreal.
Sometimes (ok most times) PCM screws you over but it feels really nice during the times you get the luck of the draw.
Okay, that said, TVG don't screw this up. Just wheel suck all the elite climbers to the top.

It really is frustrating when seeing weak climbers such as Van Garderen or Lutsenko outclimbing my 79 and 78 climber on almost every single stage no matter if hard or easy mountain stage.
I mean Olivier at least tries it sometimes but while he then struggles afterwards Van Garderen always can attack again and another time. |

Good day for the red jersey. Not so good for the green one.

Boom baby, three stage wins already and chances for more are coming in next days, perfecto!
We are not dreaming about red jersey anymore, but with this form, we can maybe fight for the green one and even KOM jersey, seeing that majority of stages have one major finishing climb only. At least 2nd in both competitions would be nice, so lets fight Aleksandr! Anyway this race is definitely success already. Also this is an answer to those calling our legend boring rider since his Giro.
TVG and Lutsenko are just...wow, i blame bad route design, stages are not tough enough

Hum, this is starting to become nonsense from TVG and Lutsenko
At this rate, I can forget about Guldhammer going past the American in the GC, though, I still hope the two upcoming mountain stages + the MTT will be more difficult for him, as there are multiple mountains close to the finish. It will surely be interesting!
And I'd say Pluchkin has made this a very successful Vuelta for Metinvest, congratulations for a third time, Avin! Also good to see Keinath give Pokerstars at least one good stage result, eventhough it can obvously not compensate for their disastrous GC. |

It's sickening to see a 72MO rider with 72REC just toying with much much better riders. I can live with the fact that he is high in the GC for a while, but 4th after 17 stages and just two mountainstages and a TT left. Nah!
Lecuisinier yet again doing well and climbing better than his stats suggest, so I can't be unhappy at all by his performance. Also Campero did well here, while Vasyliv is back to sucking while having a set of skills that should make him climb well up in the GC.
Koretzky unfortunately did nothing to secure his KOM 2nd place and immidiately drops to 5th. He won't get back up from that I think. He needs to attack on the next stage atleast.
Fingers are crossed that Lecuisinier can keep his top 5 in the GC. He should be able to overtake Tejay, and then it's all about not getting overtaken by more than one of these: Guldhammer, Velits, Uran and Nibali. Could happen, but definately could go wrong also. We don't need either getting too close prior to the TT.
EDIT:
Oh, and I forgot to say, I'm seriously happy to see Pokerstars getting some well deserved points here after a horrible race. Gotta hope that Tenorio can take a stage and Keinath keep on going well, maybe fighting for the KOM.

Tejay and Lutsenko with sick performances. Sagan as well with a good GC position.
Nice to see Pluchkin winning at least another stage and also great to see Pokerstars getting something positive after many disappointments!
And finally my so called climbers attempt something. No output but it was time to see them try...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Seriously doubt we'll score more than 50 points here.

It's definately a sucky situation for you. Especially seeing similar riders as Ginanni all over the top 25.
Davide Formolo is set for 42 points though and having Konrad, Furdi and Tratnik inside the top 100 too they are looking to give 45 points. You have Hofland just outside the top 100 which gives atleast 8 points and also Francis de Greef are just outside. If we close the race as it is now you are set for 114 points. So still better than Pokerstars and Jayco'z Giro campaign - And only a bit of luck is needed for you to also outscore my Giro performance. Still a shit race though!
Looking at how the race has progressed, Tanel Kangert could have been a very good rider for you here.

Yeah, should have brought Bobridge instead of Morton..
Those GTs will hurt big time.

Only because of the crashes I guess... Lecuisinier is doing well here, and except for the TT Morton should have done better. Both on the climbs and the hills.

Sure. My Bobridge idea was more like a frustrated joke, looking how TVG fools the GT guys.

Velits doing ok, while Sagan continues to overperform. Nice to also see Kolar in the breakaway. Pluchkin starts to dominate, but Brambilla is greatly helping Gesink so far. Still I would bet on Gesink crashing out from the race in the last stage though.
TVG and Lutsenko are having an insane race. I think their results are another reason why rider forms could be a great thing to have in MG.

Looks like the only stage points we'll get were the few for Declerq's 2nd in KoM on one stage. I have no idea why the AI doesn't give Herklotz a breakaway chance, or why Bongiorno consistently underperforms.
We're gonna drop a lot after this, more than I expected.

Jeez Olivier...going down the mountain slower than up. Reincarnation of Pinot 2014 or 15? it seems. |
