To me Kiryienka and Malori isn't the surprise either. The gap between Kiry, Malori, Castro etc. is quite normal... it's just Martin, Dumoulin and Dennis underperforming (well, Dennis having to change bike too...)

Maybe not the winner much people hoped for, but such a long TT never lies. Stunning ride and a well deserved gold medal and rainbow jersey. |

What, kiri actually won?!
Thats pretty awesome, such a genuine guy and one of my favourite riders and now he has this amazing career highlight
I guess anyone but Martin would be pretty strange to see in TJ WC shirt, but dont find the winner that surprising ffs

Due to the lack of a proper long Tour de France Time Trial, Kiryienka won the arguably two most prestigious TTs of the season: The long Giro TT and the WCTT. That's quite something.

lol why on earth is Nikias Arndt here for Germany? They have much better timetrialists
edit: apparently they have not. What happened to the German timetrial tradition?
Wait 3-4 years. We took a complete medal set from U23 and juniors.

I started disliking your opinions over the last months or so, but now you just won the World ITT Championship to my "most hated member" spot. You were so damn fast, that you even overtook Marsu, who started right before you. Congratulations.
Must not be an easy time for you. Take your frustration out on someone else pls

Don't think Dumoulin underperformed. Well maybe if you compare it to a fresh well rested Dumoulin. But considering the Vuelta he has had I think he did his utter best |

I'm not taking out any frustration. I just suggested on a different way, that you could put your crappy opinions somewhere else. Or at least that you could phrase them, in a way which doesn't provokes other members. "Well deserved win from Kiri!" sounds way better and isn't provoking anyone here. Or do I say: "I hope that Kiriyenka gets DQ'd because of doping!"? No! Because it would just provoke people.

Why all the hate for Kiri? Surely one of the more likeable Skyborgs and after years of hard graft and domestique duties, pacing the peloton for hundreds after hundreds of kilometres, he gets a huge win to show for that, following 3-4-4 in the WC ITT the past three years. Chapeau.

He was injured before the start of the TT and plus add that to Vuelta fatigue it explains his weaker performance. |

Well Senor Quintana, I really like Kiryenka as he's one of the most dedicated riders in terms of discipline and when he gets his chance to shine he takes it well like today, the Giro TT and his great mtn stage in the Vuelta 2014, he's blood and guts on the road. |

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but wasn't that camera crap at times in the race, on one of the time checks it looked like an amateur cameraman filming it and hell we hardly saw any of the riders at times either.
Also they were referring to the riders as contestants, they must think that the WC is a game show. |

Sad about Malori, but I like Kiri as well. The Movi guys really showing up today! |
