Kristoff said that his teammates was to tired to get him to a good position. Still, a great race for Kristoff.

After an amazing 40kms solo effort, Rein Taaramae takes the Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia in front of Mollema and Stybar:
The Estonian rider takes his first season win in his first race: it was really a great one.
He ran away all alone from the bunch with 1 km to the Sierra Espuna, with no one even trying to follow him. Result his that before the downhill he already gained 35 seconds on the group. At the end of it he even managed to gain 2 other minutes on the group, with only Movistar in front of it. With 10 kms to go Trek finally decides to stay in front and relay but it's too late and Taaramae gets at the end of the race with 10 seconds on the bunch.
A thrilling race, really!

Wow, nice result from De Tier there, and here I was worrying Topsport Vlaanderen was done for after losing all their good riders last year
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

If that result is any indication that Rein is back, Astana will have a quite good team in the mountainious races this year with him, Nibali, Aru, Fuglsang, Landa, Scarponi and even guys like Kangert, LLS and Westra as well.. |

I was on the Rein bandwagon longer than most. I think by the end it was just me sitting there with an English-Estonian dictionary hoping beyond hope he finally reached his potential.
Short of Dominique Rollin, there is no rider I'd love more to see finally blossom and accomplish something. You've always got to be careful early season results aren't just form, but let's just say that I've been digging through my trunk of translation dictionaries and buying my ticket. |

So, switch to Astana and start winning races. Good to know.

Lol, that's really unprofessional - and typical spanish - racing. Car in the way alright, but the moto on Stybar's side, which is blocking the way, is so pointless. My guess, they actually said to the car driver to move out of the way, must have been something like that.

Mollema really squeezed through there. |

Race ends as predicted, Cav vs Lobato. Cav takes the spoils. Renshaw after what looks great leadout gets 3rd.

Well he has had a busy start to the year, but I am much more impressed by Kiristoff's wins in Qatar, then Cavs wins in San luis, Dubai and here.
It is at least encouraging to see Cav looking hungry and putting the hard yards into these small s*** races.

Lobato I feel like this will be a great year for him. And since when is Agnoli sprinting? |

I actually thought of Agnoli when making the odds. He is some crazy guy who sprints every here and there. Usually not even too bad. |

Yeah quite odd to see Agnoli sprinting so well lately, used to see him as a pure climbing domestique.

He had solid Sprint results for a few years imo. Not only lately.
He is a great mountain domestique but also good in Sprint leadouts or even by himself |
