Indeed Shonak, i started loving it from the moment i started it. Seems like a great little program. Will be interesting in Tirreno, as absolutely everything can happen in each terrain.
Team Time Trial, 16 kilometers long is opening stage of this years Tirreno, just like it was in previous edition of this race. As our best 3 TTers are on Paris - Nice race (Cancellara, Sergent and Vandewalle), we do not expect anything special here.
Tirreno - Adriatico [Stage 1]
6th March - 12th March, 2014
After few Italian teams, Orica GreenEdge was first team that could seriously be one of the teams on podium. Anyways, it looked like they all had bad they, since their time was 21'14" at that moment, which was far from best result from last years edition.
Bardiani and CCC were next 2 teams, but none of them had result that was even close to Oricas' one. Trek Factory Racing guys were on the startin line now. After strong start and great ride, our guys managed to finish 56 seconds in front of OGE, which was first serious result!
Garmin - Sharp was next team on starting ramp. Although they looked really good all over their ride, they finished 4 seconds behind Trek at the end. This looked pretty good for us, but few favourites are about to start, yet.
BMC Racing Team was next one. Lead by Evans, Gilbert and Sanchez, expectations about this teams results were high before the start of the race, and they met the expectations on the first stage, as they finished 19 seconds in front of Trek and secured provisional lead!
Team Sky were on the road, then. With Cataldo, Porte and Hagen as their leaders, and great TT squad, it was expected from them to make good result and maybe even win here. Of course it looked like that, as they managed to finish 15 seconds in front of BMC and get provisional lead.
Only 2 teams left now, OPQS and Movistar. Omega Pharma's guys are first to start. Not really strong TTT squad for them here, as their best TTers here are Uran and De Gendt. However, they finished 15 seconds behind Sky, having the same result as BMC. Trek was 4th at that moment.
Movistars guys are now the only one left on the road. They do have an extremely good TT squad here, lead by Castroviejo, Inxtausti and Valverde. At the end, they were so close, since they finished only 2 seconds behind Sky, who took the win on 1st stage of Tirreno Adriatico 2014.
At the end, Trek finished as 5th, which was pretty good as we didn't have any of our Top3 TTers here.

Pretty good result there, yup. Now, we'll try to focus on the rest of the race, as Haimar/Giacomo duo should bring us some nice results.
And now the day we all waited for. If we somehow manage to save the yellow jersey, we will be very close to winning this race. But it's surely not going to be easy stage.
Paris - Nice [Stage 5]
3rd March - 10th March, 2014
Breakaway group created pretty early, on the first climb of the day. Lopez, Aru, Van Avermaet and De Clerq are in this group, which makes it really, really strong breakaway group.
To say on the start, this wasn't surely one of the normal and regular stages. Proof for that was an early attack of Quintana, Roche and Weening. There's no strong reason for such a move, but the attack was made. However, It was neutralised soon, as the Trek guys were working hard to catch them.
It was not so long before another attack was made. This time, by one of the biggest favourites for taking this stage, Alberto Carlos Betancur. Seriously guys...
Anyways, once again, Trek team showed as strong and caught that. Our guys were slightly exhausted after all of these attacks, but we didn't want to show that. All of that lead to attack of Frank Schleck, 50 kilometers before the finish line. His move is followed by Weening and they're getting the advantage quickly. Breakaway group is still few minutes in front.
Although they gained the advantage quickly and started co-operating with the relays, one team started seriously chasing them, as well as the E1 group. It was Katusha, who were clearly working for Purito Rodriguez.
Last rated KoM hill and after the Katusha finally caught both E1 and E2 groups, group calmed for few moments. But not so long, as the guys are once again trying to escape. Mollema , Roche and restless Pieter Weening are trying to make a move here.
Although they gained some time on hill, it was quickly neutralised on the downhill. Alot of guys dropped on that hill, due to strong pace and there are now 26 guys in main group, going downhill. Andy Schleck is on the groups top, while Cancellara is in middle of it.
Fabian uses his descent abilities quickly after that moment and decides to attack before last, steep climb. Might be a good idea, might be a total fail but we have to risk. There's no way he can follow the names such as Purito, Nibali or Froome on the last hill.
His move was followed by half of that group. Andy Schleck was still behind, trying to catch that all from his seat. The last climb started and Fabian was the first one to face it.
Just as expected, after few moments, he just sat in his seat and couldn't follow the pace anymore, unlikely few other guys that kept accelerating. Rodriguez, Nibali and Martin were best of them, as they made advantage of about 4-5 bikes lenght. 3 more kilometers to go.
Tired, but with good advantage, Purito and Nibali entered last kilometer. It's now getting clear that Rodriguez is going to win this. Down the road, group lead by Betancur is trying to reduce the gap. Schleck is still there. Cancellara is struggling alot at the bottom of it, but he somehow manages to stay there.
And yup, just as it was expected, Purito kept solid pace until the end and managed to win this stage. He's surely more than 30 seconds in front of Cancellara, which means we're loosing the yellow jersey today.
1 minute and 41 second after Rodriguez, Cancellara passed the finish line, finishing as 13th. Not that bad result. Andy Schleck finished in 8th, having 1'20" gap.
Not a great stage for our guys, but it certainly could be a bit better.

Well, not the best stage as you said but the competition is pretty strong there. Cancellara is still 4th overall, so you can be happy about that.

Andy will surely try to move up in GC in next few days, as differences are so small there. We're still satisfied with results so far, as we fullfilled our first sponsor goal and actually had a chance to wear yellow jersey there.
The second stage is classic Italian stage, as it has alot of hills and mountains in first part of it, but it has SPRINT written all over it, at the end. Nizzolo and Felline are our leaders today.
Tirreno - Adriatico [Stage 2]
6th March - 12th March, 2014
Breakaway was created quickly after the start of the stage. All of these guys are mainly from teams that did pretty bad in that opening Team Time Trial and now are trying to show of their jerseys and sponsors. Hoogerland, Kern, Piechele and Taciak are here.
First few hills were very hard for Nizzolo and most of the other sprinters, but luckily the pace wasn't that high, so Giacomo survived it pretty good.
After the last climb and its downhill, on another side, riders slightly entered the circuit zone, where the finish is. On the first circuit, something really dangerous caught our eyes. It's a traffic roundabout just before last kilometer. This isn't really best terrain for a finish of flat stage, but let's hope no one will get injured.
Anyways, after few hours of chasing, peloton finally managed to catch the E1 group at about 12 kilometers to go. Now, sprint trains are about to be created and tensions are high. Crashes are first thing we want to avoid here.
Felline decided to follow Greipel and Lotto's train, while Nizzolo is on Sagan's wheel. It's looking good for us, so far.
And then, few kilometers after this picture was taken and just after the guys started sprinting, a big mistake from Nizzolo who was the closest guy to that traffic roundabout. He just grazed the edge of it and it almost catapulted him. Luckily ,nothing serious happened.
On the front, Greipel had perfectly timed sprint and great acceleration made him win this stage in front of Sagan!
Despite all the problems, Giacomo finished as 7th, while Felline finished as 11th, at the end of the day. It would've been a terrible accident and we're so thankful that Nizzolo somehow avoided it. Big mistakes from organisators, tho...

Decent start to T-A! Nice TTT (although presuming that you simulated it)
Unlucky for Fabian on the climb to Mende, but he should comfortably hold onto that Top 5 GC place

Not so good as we expected, but quite good sprint from Giacomo. We hope that he'll get better shape soon.
And yes, i always simulate TTTs. I firstly enter the stage, take pictures of the team, then exit and simulate it and write reports according to results. Nice, little trick that can help you get over TTTs but with some good reports.
6th stage of Paris Nice is last flat stage. Well, it's more 'flat', than actually flat since it has alot of hills in it, including slightly uphill terrain just before finish line.
Paris - Nice [Stage 6]
3rd March - 10th March, 2014
Pretty strong breakaway on the road today, as Amador, Schar, Gillou and Coppel are there, as well as our Riccardo Zoidl. You have to admit that they're one hell of the breakaway group, which might even succeed in their way to finish todays stage in front of peloton.
Katusha were controlling the race all the time and never let the guys in E1 get big gap. 20 kilometers to go and Amador/Zoidl duo is trying to get some advantage over the rest of breakaway. Peloton is there, with less than 1 minute of gap. This looks like mass- sprint finish, once again.
13 kilometers to go and peloton finally managed to catch Zoidl and Amador, as they caught rest of breakaway earlier. Guys in front can now focus on sprints. Cancellara and D. van Poppel are trying to get good position before sprint. Kittel/Degenkolb duo with great positioning once again. Bouhanni is on Kittels wheel. Is there anyone who can stop them?
Once again perfect sprint by Kittel which lead him to another win in Paris. I have some strange feeling that all of us are now looking at a guy who's going to totally dominate any kind of sprints in next couple of years.
Bouhanni had great sprint. Wheelsucking tactic almost showed as great, as he was only few inches away from getting the win. Van Poppel finishes as 8th and Cancellara as 10th, for our team.

Bouhanni learning from Farrar for the 2nd place. Unfortunately he learned a little too much. He too forgot to actually launch.

Yup, you gotta love this PCM system. 0.1% 'uphill' sprint and all of the top GC favourites are suddenly in Top 10 (Froome, Nibali, Betancur, Rodriguez etc.).
I think we made mistake that we gone with van Poppel there, as Cancellara would be much better 'sprinter' on that kind of finish. But well...
Most likely last stage that's going to finish in mass sprint, which means last chance for Nizzolo to do something. We'll surely try to focus as much as we can on that sprint and maybe even possible podium there.
Tirreno - Adriatico [Stage 3]
6th March - 12th March, 2014
Sunny day in Italy, which was quite surprise for us. 3 guys decided to go on their own and made a breakaway group quickly after the start of the stage. Durasek, Gautier and Testi are their names.
The real action actually started on first and the only rated hill on todays stage, the one 40 kilometers before finish line. Gautier made a move and he's followed by Durasek, while Testi dropped and can't follow that tempo.
Durasek couldn't catch him, so it was Gautier vs Peloton in next couple of kilometers. Frenchman's journey had to finish at about 9 kilometers to go, after the peloton decided to chase him.
It's now sprint-trains time. No team-train for our guys, as Jungels and the rest of squad didn't really feel good. Sprinters had a great day however, and they're now on top. Felline is following Ladagnous wheel, while Nizzolo is following Sagan once again. On the left side of the road, Lotto's train is accelerating and slightly getting in position.
Sprint started and Giacomo had great sprint. However, he couldn't catch up with Greipel and Demare who had great fight on the top. Photofinish had to decide who won this stage.
It was Demare at the end! Great victory and sprint from French, as Greipel was in 2-3 meters advantage at the start of the sprint.
Nizzolo finished as 3rd, which is great considering Giacomo's current form.

Quite some stages, not always with the best end for Trek. Nizzolo improving from stage to stage. Cancellara meanwhile definitely seems ready for MSR.
