Hi guys, thank's a lot for the efforts put down to this great database!
I seem to have a problem with the 3D-mode though, haven't seen anyone else complaining about it, so I guess it's just me?
I get past "Starting inrace server" and "decompressing" quite fast, but the game freezes at "Stream read". I have tried many different races, and it's always the same. Have no other problems whatsoever, but the 3D. No purple flags or anything else corrupt in game.
Anyone heard about something similar before?

I can play a classic stage at the WC perfectly, but when I try to run Paris-Roubaix the game crash in the middle of the race, can anybody help me? |

Hello guys. Yesterday I tried a full version (great version!), but a little hard for my laptop. I already asked about it but i'd like more precise answer. When will you release no-equipment version (approximately - 3-5 days, a week, 2 weeks)? |

You've downloaded it already? In Mongolia? FML. Mongolia has better internet than me |

I think i get the same problem. When it gets to Stream Read it appears to stop loading, and if i click/switch program etc it does cause it to crash.
BUT if you wait, just wait, it does keep going like normal after a minute or two. It also does the same thing while loading Rider Textures, but again waiting is all it needs.
Does mean it takes a long time to load a stage up but it does get there. Find some music to listen to or something to fill the few extra minutes

YEAH!! 93 hours later, it's ready. .
Amazing to see the amount of content in it from the 30 minute installation. Great work lluuiiggii and the team. Now, let's go do some damage with Simon Yates. |

Haha, actually yes. I found out my work had decent internet (unlike my home at the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar) so I got it downloaded in about 83 hours

Hmm, okay, at least good to hear I'm not the only one. Have you downloaded FCD? I am currently reinstalling my PCM, in case that was the issue that caused my crashes (and yeah, it crashed because I tried to go to my desktop after being tired of waiting) |

Thanks for the feedback
About San Giuseppe, I don't really know how I could miss one of your stages It'll be included in the upcoming patch The wrong borders/people in the end of stages is indeed annoying. The problem is it happens way too often and several stage makers don't really know about it/don't fix it, so it's hard to have it correct in all stages. Concerning Tour de Bretagne, it's a community-made stage, so I'll try to get in touch with the maker and see if he can fix it. As for GP Industria, I'm afraid it's a stage that comes with the game, so less chance to have it fixed Nevertheless, if you or anyone wants to make a list of all stages that they see the problem in and let us know about it we'll try to fix as many stages as possible
About the logo, it's a problem with some logos, in PCM11 (when many graphics of the current sponsors were made) the positioning of the logos in the file was like that in order to appear good in game, but now it's changed in PCM13 (the logo no longer appears on the rider's infobox). It's another thing that I'd like to go over/correct in the future. For now, I've attached a better logo for Focus (and HD transferts as well)
Thanks for the detailed answer and the quick logo fix!
Was happy to see that all my UCI Tour stages made it to the DB except Tour des Pays de Savoie... but on the same date are already four or five races anyway.
I'll check as many stages as I can starting with the 1.2 races. It's a nice opportunity to take a brief look into many different stages.
Will single post whenever I finished a categorie and hope to provide a full list within some days. |

Crashes in the middle of the game normally happen due to the game reaching the limit of RAM, the solution normally is to lower the graphics.

I think your first estimation is good, in a few days. Creating the no-equipment version is quite fast, we're only waiting to make sure there are no bugs in the DB before starting with the Extras (a patch will released to correct the bugs found too)

If you've only installed PCMdaily's Real Name DB, you can install the Expansion Pack on top of it, no problem.

Savoie indeed is a really cool race which I wanted to add, but apparently only Burgos from the UCI teams took part of the race in real life, so it wouldn't be much realistic
It'd be nice if you'd do a list of those stages Though there's no hurry needed, fixing them will take some time anyway so it'd be more of a thing for the 2014 DB or something

Okay..., but I at least hurried to check the 1.2 races... hoping that something can be fixed with the next update.
First of all I recognized (don't know if it's known) when you choose a race ingame and open the map it better shouldn't look like this:
(It turns out to be a good indicator, that something is wrong with the stage)
Surely buggy is the 2012 (variant) of Trofeo Alcide Degasperi. Can't even open it with the stage viewer. Seems like a "bad" convertion, too.
There is an updated version download to fix this.
Another convertion of my stages with the "merge-finishline-problem" is GP Kralovehradeckeho Kraje.
As alternative you can pick the one from the stage database or pick the 2013 Edition stardrummer made.
Other 1.2 stages in the Database with the merge finishline issue:
GP Ville de Lilliers - Souvenir Bruno Comini
Grand Prix Herning
Rutland - Melton Classic
Zuid Oost Drenthe Classic I
Zuid Oost Drenthe Classic II
Ronde van Overijssel
Circuit de Wallonie
University of Lincoln GP
Pearl Izumi Tour Series Round 2
Pearl Izumi Tour Series Round 9
Pearl Izumi Tour Series Round 11
Beaumont Trophy
Few of the other 1.2 races are doubles for the known lack of "real" stages.
I have seen that one stage is used three times (for GP Kranj, Bastianelli and Fleche Ardennaise). It's a nice one, but for a wider variety maybe one can replaced.
I really liked Trofeo Zssdi or the Piccolo Lombardia Pelli made.
Thanks for all your great work, luigi! |

For people who haven't got access for the file yet, I've posted the file on Usenet as an additional mirror:

This happens when the stage used is PCM12. As far as we know, the map-thing is pretty much the only (noticeable) problem in using PCM12 stages in PCM13. It also explains the borders bug with some of your stages, like Kralo... (etc ) Kraje, since you're still to convert it the PCM12 stages are included for now

Cyanide is the one who set the fake stages, all we do is replace any that is made by the real ones So whether it has variety hasn't really been checked. If you mean that Zssdi or Lombardia are good ones to be used as fake stages for these 3 races (thus giving more variety), I'll take a look into that

Ahh okay, didn't knew this. Just wondered why many of these races are on the "broken" list, too.

The two mentioned are nice looking stages snd might be cool "fake races" as well, but I haven't checked how far the profiles matches.
Was just a quick idea when I stumbled across the very same stage over and over again. Knew about the doubles, but never realized how imbalanced it seems to be.
e.g. I took a look for the source of the before mentioned races and found out that Giro del Piemont (HC) is used for Copa Placci (1.1), Fleche Ardennaise (1.2), GP Kranj (1.2) and GP Bastianelli (1.2).
So if you play with an Italian team it is quite likely to ride the same race three or four times a season.
To rebalance this might be a nice DB feature. |

I noticed that you can't edit teams with the DB editor that comes with the game, was that expected?

Yes. Not much we can do about it, considering the way the DB is setup. You can use any other editor, though |
