 Critérium du Dauphiné VariantStage 7: Cluses - Avoriaz (Morzine) Its queen stage-day! The course leads us from Cluses up to Avoriaz with lots of challanges on the way through. In fact, three HC-Climbs, a 2nd category and 3rd category climb before the rider will climb up to the summit finish in Avoriaz. Besides that, its noteworthy that the infamous Col de Joux Plane has to climbed twice on that stage.

Critérium du Dauphiné Variant Stage 8: Sallanches - Sallanches ITT With an ITT of 35km the stage race is going to finish today. The profile is quite hilly and thus pretty much balanced. It really takes an all-around ability to win this timetrial.

Althought I am big noob when it comes to stages, I really like the profile of Trofeo Pollenca - Stage 1!
Thanks for all of these races, some DBs won't be even possible without you and few more guys that are doing some great job on stage-making. Well done.

Thank you admirschleck. My favourite one is the Trofeo Soller 2005. But the Trofeo Pollenca 2005 has a great profile, too. Keep in mind that these are real stages. They are from the Vuelta a Mallorca in 2005, respectively 2014. Just not as stages but as one-day classics as they get classified by the UCI.

While I'm still working on the 2005 DB project, here a further real races from that year. I actually planned to plug that race with fake stages, but I really liked the route, so I made them regardless.

Well, I couldn't find the exact routes, but I inferred them from the checkpoints given by Cyclingnews (start and finish town, intermediate sprints and mountain classifications, length of the stage and kilometer-position of the checkpoints).
