36th. Quite decent, considering two of my riders were incredibly crap and scored 0 points. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Pinot and Voeckler

What a downfall during the last week. Not a surprise without Froome. Still happy I have been in the top 3 positions for the first two weeks!
Congrats to Smowz for the win!

Well i had 5 sub 100 pointers with 2 goose eggs and one crash out, besides that it was a great race for the 10th man.

VDB was a complete fail, Pinot was a complete fail, Hesjedal was a complete fail, Valverde was kinda fail. Cav wasn't worth it either.
Doesn't help to have the bargains Kwiatek and Costa then...

Great to win this.
Sagan and Froome seemed no brainers from the start. But picks like Valverde, Mollema, Rui Costa, Kristoff really helped.
I had Pinot and not sure why I picked Boom, though he did pick up some decent.breakaway points. So I certainly was not perfect.
Cya all at the Vuelta

Climbed all the way up to 35th after sitting around 60th for most of the race.
Like many others, I made the mistake of picking Pinot over Mollema and Nieve. So frustrating that I had both of them in the day before the start, but swapped them out.
Cav and Greipel disappointed a little by losing out to Kittel on several occasions. Should've gone for him and Sagan instead.
Bardet proved worthy of his 4 credits as I suspected, but Amador and especially Malori were disasters. Shame the former didn't get many opportunities of his own.
Overall, not too bad. Congrats, Smowz!

Not picking Contador or Froome actually worked out really well for me. Team breakdown:
Rodriguez - Finally came good in the final week and earned a lot for his podium.
Sagan - Second highest scorer and was really a no-brainer pick.
Quintana - Highest scorer in the team and probably the best value of any rider.
Valverde - Had a great thing going until he dropped off the pace but still over 850 points is a good haul.
D. Martin - Once again looked really good for a top 10 then after a crack third week didn't get anywhere. Still, not bad for 10 points.
T. Martin - Not a bad pick though if I had a chance I would change it, as in retrospect 8 points was too high a price.
Pinot - I really wish I had've gone with my gut and my heart and picked Nieve instead.
Simon - I've said plenty here already and feel vindicated
Bardet - Probably the biggest gamble on the team and he really lived up to that. As with Pelli I was tossing up between him, Amador and Malori. I knew Amador would work for others but Malori was just crap, so I feel good about this one.

2nd is awesome, especially as I had Pinot, and picked Cav over Sagan.

25th! Not bad, considerably better than my effort at the Giro. Could have been so much better if I hadn't decided to switch Mollema for Pinot at the last minute! Aaargghhh!
Went for a risky strategy of picking lots of high-end picks with a few low-end gambles to balance it out, ending up with a team of:
Froome
Porte
Quintana
Pinot
Cavendish
Costa
Amador
Roelandts
Gallopin
Last three did hardly anything but Costa was a better-than-expected pick

91st.. Why oh Why did i opt for French nationalism.
Pinot, Voeckler and Bouhanni together amassing... 0 points!
Other than that, Porte, Rodriguez and Froome all doing me some good, and Nieve chipped in with a few valuable points as well

Respectable 15th place finish for me - hamstrung by sprint stages being spread around so Sagan>Cav and picking Voeckler in a post Europcar Dauphine scandal world.
Palmares for this season now reads:
Spring Classics 3rd of 105 - peaked too early
Giro 34th of 127 - poor performance matched by my main pick Wiggins
Tour 15th of 145 - hinting at a return to form in time for the Vuelta???
