Didn't play PCM in a while but decided to give it a go with Radioshack. Played one race and have to say it was quite a good one for us

Easy win or easy difficulty ?
Although it doesn't matter whether you play at extreme or easy on this particular race ;P Nationals Champs with 25 riders are the funniest races ever. One attack and that's it mostly :L Onto TdU with Gallopin and Hermans.

Continuation from my earlier post on my OPQS save.
Boonen won Paris Roubaix from great work from Terpstra and Chavanel.
Tony Martin won Pais Vasco
Chavanel won Amstel Gold and finished 6th in Le Fleche Wallone.
Cavendish and Trentin each took a stage win in the Giro.
Cavendish won the Skoda Tour of Luxembourg and finished 2nd in the ZLM Tour while taking 3 stage wins.
Cavendish has also won the first stage of the TDF.
Alot of Success this year and it looks like Chavanel will leave.

Well I made it to the end of the season with OPQS but now the game crashes everytime I try and advance past 31st December 2013
Ive signed Coppel, Boeckmans, De Gendt and Renshaw.
I have lost Chavanel to Argos but because they were relegated hes now at Sky, Grabsch, Keisse, De Weert,
Edit: Its made it onto the 1st January after the third attempt

I just started a new career, with a custom team; KLM - Airfrance Cycling Team.
It's a continental team, aiming on the Netherlands, but I want to add Belgians and French guys in the future..
This is the team that's going to get me promotion in a few years
Some of them(most of the leaders also) are real riders, some of them are regens that I got when making the custom team.
I only took regens where their scout report said Promising, or Future Great. I started over, and over again until I had multiple Future Great reports
Some talents didn't disappoint me, like Casper van de Hoek, and Rik Bosch, others, like Tom Jorissen, seem almost useless though...
It has to be said that there was a guy who was even worse(AVG 54), I fired him
I like careers that start with talented, but not that great, riders. I can then build up the team, and might turn Pro Tour in, say, 4/5 years...
I won't play this too frequently, but I'm doing a few races once in a while I think...
Oh yeah, and the team also got their first okay result. Bovenhuis got 13th in Trofeo Zssdi.
I won't take a lot of wins this season, but Wippert and Bol can give me quite a few Top 10s in the sprints, Bovenhuis and maybe Van de Hoek in the mountains, and Bol & Hamelink can give us some serious results in the TTs. Maybe we can even get a victory in the TTs, we're pretty strong there...

I couldn't resist playing this afternoon, RvV was so boring at certain moments
With my KLM career, Wippert managed a second place!
How did that happen? Well...
After an extremely unsuccessful Ronde van Drenthe & Tour of Taiwan, Wippert entered Tour of Normandië with a great form.
Still, some great 72-75SP people were there.
A pretty funny thing happened in Stage 2(1 was a prologue).
The peloton was preparing the sprint, there was about 5km to go. 'We' were on the second row, KLM doesn't posess enough beasts to be able to start the sprint in front.
Suddenly, a mass crash appeared at the front. Almost all top-sprinters were out. The pace in the peloton suddenly was way slower, and our train was leading. Only 2 teams were still wanting to set up a leadout, Cofidis and KLM. Cofidis didn't had a good sprinter left, Poulhiès fell in the crash(even withdrawed after that). So the top-sprinters were now wheelsucking Cofidis guys like Bessy(62SP), or weren't doing anything. My sprinters took a big gap, and Wippert & Bol were going to take a 1-2. At least I thought. Suddenly, Brambilla(Atlas) came sprinting from far behind, 5km/h faster than Wippert, and he took the victory by an inch.
Bol managed to get 3rd as well, since there was no other serious challenger...
Still, a great day for the team. It won't happen again though, and the team certainly won't take a victory in Normandië now. A missed chance.
Annoying is that almost no gaps were given from the peloton to the crashed riders
I hope that doesn't bore you too much, I just had to tell this, it was a pretty funny stage

Yeah, it was incredibly close. I thought 'Yes, yes, I'm going to win this. Oh fuck, there's an Atlas rider. Well, the gap is big enough. Aww, this is going to be too close. YES I WON! Oh wait. Noooo! Shit! Damn Brambilla!''
That were exactly my thoughts
