Vattenfal Cyclassic tommorow. Do you guys think the small hills will be enough for a puncher to race away with the victory, or will it be a big bunch sprint ? |

Or he reacted like a normal human, and cracked after a long season?
A normal human wouldn't last that long at top form.
Excuse me but how long is THAT long?
Let's see - building up to Giro, 3 weeks top form during the Giro, back to training mode until mid TdF, then top form on second part of TdF through
TdP (roughly 4 weeks), then using up what's left in the engine for UPCC.
Man, you do know how to stand your point

There's little doubt about if the race will be won by sprinter. It's never been won by a breakaway in recent years. The question is, will it be a full bunch sprint, or reduced sprint, like, in 2011 for example. |

Just watched the womens world cup race.
WTF is rabobank doing, all they had to do was keep the bunch together and Miranne Vos would have won the sprint with no problem.
Instead they send some no good rider in a 3 man break with 2 KM to go, and she gets 3th in the sprint -.-''
Women cycling has a long way to go.... |

Apparently Greipel has crashed, but it seems like he got back in the pack pretty quickly.

Nobody mentioning Vattenfall? Kristoff wins.
Could have sworn I spotted a Farrar near the front there.

Farrar actually sprinted and beat Cav and Kittel! That's right Farrar, you earn that contract!

Crazy strong sprint by Kristoff. Seemed like to be ages in the wind, still pulled it off.

Never underestimate Farrar. He is the best Garmin's rider ATM according to PCS ranking. |

Seeing it in the rankings just makes it so sweet. Seeing Farrar's name ahead of Cav and Kittel.
These are the kind of races that Garmin do and still need Farrar in. While Viviani will be doing another race, they need Farrar to snag these places. If you still don't think he's worth resigning, I think that's crazy.

If it is his role to just gain points then its a fair call to say he is worth resigning, but I am pretty sure he is in the team to win races and have the team sponsors name on the top step on the podium. Kittel is worth a hell of a lot more to his squad than Farrar, same goes for Cavendish, these guys constantly have there sponsors name up in lights.

When did I say he was worth as much as them? He's obviously not.
But he's fairly consistent when he doesn't crash, and he gets you good places, when eh actually sprints.
I was proud of him today for actually sprinting to the line. Often he will be out of contention for the win and sit up, ending up like 10th. but today he fought to the line and was able to overtake like 3 riders.
He isn't worth the contract of a star sprinter, but he is definitely worth a contract in itself.
