Still a little confused about some of the rankings work (e.g. Grupo Argos leading team TT rankings),
Here are the rules: "For the team rankings the top 10 teams [per race] will get points. For that the finishing positions of their top 3 riders counts."
In TTs we only have 3 riders so all their positions count. In your case that's 1+5+48=53. Grupo Argos got 4+11+16=31 and Deutsche Bahn 2+3+30=35.
Ah, that makes sense. For some reason I figured it was individual points of the top 3 rather than placement numbers.

Komisarek still on top of WC and prestige ranking and actually 2nd in individual one in WT rankings. Quite a good start of the season. But considering that's almost all of his RD... See ya!
Ewan is just starting his schedule so maybe he will score some nice points this season too.
Quite impressed so far this year. |

Decent month for us. Don't expect the same in May.

Fleche Wallonië: Michal had top many drinks on Sunday. So he wanted to work for Battaglin. 6th and 10 is okay
Liège: second monument for the team. Michal winning his Third classic of the season
On to the start of may. First outing of Aru

Big time performance by our u23, exactly what we wanted to have with Rasmussen and Herder in the PCM15 engine.

Cruz finally got a big result in Finanzplatz, well done! It obviously hurts to miss out on the podium by one spot, especially given the 1-2 on top (I still wonder why that happens pretty often in that version), but 4th is definitely a decent outcome.
However, no clue what the rest of the team did - especially Espinosa. If other teams can get 1-2, or have 3+ riders in the front group, I really don't know why we can't. Well, looks like he should be completely separated from Cruz. What works well in other teams doesn't work at all for us ^^
Thanks for the next batch of result, cool to see the season move on - will we actually even finish the 2021 season in 2022?

Now why can't GVK do that every race?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Senechal not terrible in Lincoln, Favilli doing a lot of work and finished a respectable 13th.
Good to see a full 35 riders made the time cut in Aleko Vitoša. Wouldn't have gone except I think it is the only race in Bulgaria for our secondary sponsor and 16th by Droueche wasn't terrible.

4th is Sagan's worst ever result in Lincoln. But still pretty good, a positive focus race. Crazy sprint by Alaphilippe.
Decent team performance in Aleko Vitosa, such a crazy race with huge time gaps. Frankfurt proved to be too tough for our sprinters after all.

Lincoln was just a bit too much for the Langlois train I guess. Lavery continues to underwhelm, but other have bailed him out so far.

Wow wow wow Geissler, as said in the pics what an epic ride! Thanks for the video as well Shonak, got very excited when I saw three in that favourites group, have to say I was thinking it was Peiffer with our best chances but turns out Geissler was on a huge one to beat some of those probably better suited guys!
Proud to say I've now won Viana do Castelo and Aleko Vitosa, anybody else in this club so we can brag about it together?

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Sigh... Chamorro is 3rd in GC in Romandie after 2 stages, and all of a sudden PCM decides that Mendes should now be our leader. He's not our strongest puncheur, and definitely not our best climber. It just makes zero sense... At least Chamorro's second stage race this year that's just ruined by stupid AI.
On a more positive note, breakout result for Ollero, taking 2nd in the opening MTT, even ahead of Chamorro! Don't know why he had to join the break on day 3, hence losing everything in terms of GC, but at least those points are in the bag
Btw, did Gonzalez crash out on S3? Can't find him in the results

Don't think it was a random decision by PCM (it would be completely agains the AI) but dont recall what happened with Chamorro exactly, whether it was off day or an injury at some point.
In terms of crashes, they don't reallyy happen at that often anymor and when they do I usually dont register them, sorry. |

As written in results thread:
Quick info, apologies for this shietfest of videos. Basically I was messing around with OBS settings and let's say, it didn't work out great at the start. From stage 8 I believe it is smooth again. Also since I messed up recording process and forgot how hard it is to cut certain parts out of those videos... It's basically for masochists Grin. Tour/Vuelta should be fine. Perfectly fine. I hope! |

Great start to the Giro for us. Don't think we've ever done this well in TTTs. Meyer then mixing it up with the best of the sprinters on stage 2. Stage 3 and 4 was fine but Contador very weak on Stage 5 and we've lost all that TTT advantage now Cool that Svendsen is leading the KOM though. Hopefully, he can keep competing there and Contador can move up in the GC eventually.
Thanks for the reports so far dominox

Giro going well for Bardet, only 2 secs off after the TTT then sprinting for bonus seconds to take Pink! Kittel looking unbeatable in the sprints.
Bardet gained time on stage 4 and was looking good but Aru took all that back and more on stage 5.
Looks like Bardet & Aru are going to have a ding dong battle, great stuff
Thanks for the videos dominox, good enough to follow the action. Appreciate the effort to record every stage and splice them together.

The videos may be choppy, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. 26 minutes of ICL footage, what's not to love? Thank you, dominox!
Can't beat Kittel, but two very good sprints from Howard so far. Tao Hart probably at his limit on the final hill on stage 4, but he still made it safely to the finish line and then pretty much the same again on stage 5. 7th currently, we'd be happy if he can keep that position.

Wellens is so absent, each time the favourites attack he's just too slow and too far to react. He got away with it in stage 4, but really lost time on stage 5.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Kittel doing his job as always and particularly nice stuff by Pibernik to get him in position on Stage 3. A little disappointed we couldn't keep it together for a sprint on stage 4 but probably needed to send a stronger team for that. It was the top dogs on GC attacking.
Videos were much appreciated, no problem fast forwarding past the boring stuff like that TTT. Aru vs Bardet should be a classic.
