Wohooo! This is going to epic, hopefully I don't see Alacorn losing it, but less than 30 seconds isn't exactly too comfortable. Dunno the slopes for that final climb there, but even one moment of a small gap opened will effect the GC and battle for podium. Great stuff here.
And i will second TMM and some others: thanks for the quality reports and efforts despite feeling some lack of interest from several managers atm.. This is definitely a reporters nightmare, when putting those efforts into it and - for example - just reading two or three comments on a stage.

I know i wish i'd commented more. I've read every stage and took major interest when Alarcon took the lead. But the lack of PT manager interest is nothing new and that is a shame.
The dedication to do two GT's so close together is incredible. SN you do more than your fair share of the work for this game. Now before i cry () just a big thank you

I guess sometimes the scene is set for a race once the start list is revealed - fior some in the PT the Vuelta was a bit of non event from early on.
All GT's have been a huge event for me, I have been lucky enough to report on a couple but must admit it becomes a little frustrating when a main protagonist has seemingly no passion behind him. Tenorio's pretty lame defence of his title for example surely down to his sponsors non interest?
Pleased to hear SRB have at least one fan, thanks for nice words TMM and really nice to hear from Miguel, I do recall my little transfer season battle for Jose with you. obviously one million was out of the price range of a PCT team, but the way he is performing I suppose it us justified that he is here.
Contador was not able to threaten on that tough stage, slightly more confident on Tiede but you never know, I think the Aker move for Contador has paid nicely. Pleased to have two minutes on Machado who looks very dangerous. As I thought these final days are ones for breakaways, I certainly will be happy to see bonifications taken out of the equation once more.
Cmon Jose one last climbing day you can do it!

Smart move of Roche catapulted him in satisfying 12th place, his only goal for last stage is to keep it! However, the main thing is, as already mentioned, to avoid OTL and secure point jersey for generally underestimated German rocket Erik Mohs!
I thought Machado or Tenorio could gain some time on leader today. It didn´t happen, so Alarcon is winner of the day in my eyes, sorry Roman

It's a shame it took almost the whole Vuelta for Machado to get his legs going. But at last it happened! Perhaps he can even overtake Tenorio and give the team some more points. A podium would be outstanding at this point!
Just one more day for Alarcon to get his GT triumph!

Well done by Alarcon! It's by all means great to see the brilliant climber who secured us promotion head towards an incredible victory. If Contador can stay away for second place, it will be brilliant by him competing with especially Machado and Tenorio.
That final stage will be nerve-wracking, and I still fear an early attack by Machado/Tenorio, which could see Contador slip outside the podium, but we shall see.
After all, what he showed on that hilly stage wasn't great considering Teide, but chapeau for fighting back and actually be able to come back to the other favourites.

Let's wait for the final stage before such a conclusion, I'd say
And I can only say thanks again, SN! |

Awful stage with the peloton sitting up. Valverde this way winning the fight for 11th with ease. Roche vs. GM I guess for 12th.
Krieger still in the race is awesome.
But not a good race in terms of breakaways for my team. Losing a lot of important points by not joining.
Thanks for the reports, SN. |

This race just can't get getting better and better for me! And it's a first ever win for a Slovakian in my team indeed, great aggresive racing from Vysna. As a bonus it is nice to see Rujano still going strong and I can have realistically a quite decent hope he can go above Nibali in the last stage. Just amazing race from my point of view, no real worries beagle, Venezuela is likely going to be a really happy country tomorrow, Germany maybe too...

Really good riding from Atapuma, a bit disappointing to see Denifl fall down to 5th.

Really well done by Preidler, lots of mountain points on the last stage however, so I'm afraid he will loose it again.

Thanks to those who have commented after each stage. It helps a bit although it is kinda frustrating that so many PT managers just don't seem to care one bit.

Interesting indeed. 1 post per stage wouldn't really be too much to ask, considering the stages have been separated by 1-2 days. roturn and SotD have managed it despite not really having the greatest of races as well so it isn't as if only those who have done well are posting.

Well I guess I should apologize then. That was kind of alarming, I felt like I've commented more than that. I've been here every day, I guess I've just been more of a passive observer. It really has been great reporting SN, and an awesome race.

Sorry for not posting more. I know exactly how the comments of others after a report can help your motivation when racing and writing the reports, so I apologize for not being very active.
I've read all the reports within hours after they were posted but most of the time I didn't feel like I had a real comment to make.
I will try to be more active in the future.

I'm both amazed and ashamed that I haven't posted despite following every stage. Kudos and thanks to SN on an amazing job so far and looking forward to the finale. Part of me wants Alarcon to win as it'd be awesome to see, on the other hand I still bear a grudge with Smowz over Coppel |

You can see that we are dedicated managers with Cio, following and commenting more than majority of PT managers even when not in the race.
I love GT racing and SN is making a wonderful job of bringing in the great reports, very enjoyable. looking forward to the outcome of this epic Vuelta.
Also, Slovakia has won the GT stage.

Despite having written 25 posts, I feel like I have not posted as much as I should. Mainly because I felt that writing "Another shit stage" wasn't that interesting for the lot
But I also really like being active, and I guess that is just the way I like to play the game. I am also very active during the transferperiod, also much more active than my girlfriend think is reasonably
I don't say thanks for running the game enough, but I hope that the guys doing a great effort knows how much I appreciate it. This is my favorite game for a reason.

Glad I'm not one of those with least posts. I've been reading every time, but mostly at work and thus not commenting unless my riders did something special. When I come home it is unusual that I sit online
