Sad about Cancellara, one of my favorite riders to watch. Glad about Froome though the real reason he's not competing is because he knows he can't beat the drugs tests this year. Who wins the tour without even getting up out of your saddle last year? Too easy, can't believe it.

Strange bit is that Cancellara made a big deal of racing the Giro, then didn't do it

You mean Wiggins? He never gets out of the saddle

Most people won't care, but Chris Horner is out of the TDF. Will ride the Vuelta.

Is there any reason to believe that Rohan Dennis is doped?

No, but there also isn't a reason to think that he didn't dope. We simply don't know. Feel free to speculate yourself. |

I'm so not surprised that it's funny.

Well, he has ridden for the Rabobank CT team, so there's that. But he's had a steady progression over the past few years so I wouldn't really start speculating at this point anyway.

Nothing solid obviously though track cycling is hardly the cleanest place to start.

No Tour for Cance, that is a surprise. But as there is no prologue, it is understanable. Martin has now only Froome as the real opponent for TT.

Watching Travis Tygart speak at an anti-doping seminar held in Oslo today, I have to say he does not speak highly of the UCI and Pat McQuaid. I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone though.

At least nobody here will be able to pretend I hadn't spoken about French riders messing with corticoids. Even if I disagree with some stuff I once wrote, or don't like the tone of my old messages, etc. I've been claiming it for a while :

The recent fuss about Rolland and Europcar has been bound to happen since, say, 2008 or so. Not sure if it'll lead to anything this time again. |

This is other way around..Froome is only Martin oponent. Martin has won so far every ITT this year? |

Yep. That was his major season goal iirc.

Those old posts are intresting the Rolland case on itself is also intresting
So they broke MPCC rules but does the MPCC actually have the 'power' to take him out a race?
And any news if he really has tendinitis?

Had overlooked Avin's post - how come you're surprised?
He said it in October, it was repeated in February and now it's official (that Spartacus won't do the Tour).
I remember writing the news in February (or whenever it was - maybe March). When I was done, I searched for "related links" for the story - only to find the one from October which basically said exactly the same as I had just written.
Felt like a waste of time, but published it anyway |

I had to forget it completely.
