Very strong, tactically astute performance from Froome. |

What did you expect if I can ask ?
If there was one person to beat Froome it was Conta, he tried but failed. This outcome was expected with the team plus Froome being in great form.

Santambrogio not incredibly surprising, 4th in Lombardia f.ex.
Far far more impressive: Kwiatkowski
And I know why I prefer sprint stages by far: There is no action but in the last 10 minutes as well, but at least there are multiple teams alternating at the front, noone knows the winner and it's a lot more exciting to see different tactics and positioning.

It's not about what we expect. Shit stays shit even when I expect it.

I would loved to see if Froome didn't had team-mates. He had to follow every single attack. If I had team-mates like Cataldo, Urán and Henao, I would win like this too. |

Didn't say that it was unexpected!
How cool would it be if Kwiatkowski held on tomorrow to win the race overall?

Translation -> I prefer sprint stages because there are Germans who can realistically win them.
