Scratch that, Stannard and Fenn have been caught by the chase group. There's now a lead group of six, looking like Cav v Swift in a sprint unless someone can get away. Looking at Kennaugh now. He's been really strong lately and the course suits him. |

36 riders left in Belgium. Seeldraeyers, De Gendt and Bakelandts leading with 22 seconds over a chase group including Gilbert, Meersman, Van Avermaet, Vandenbroeck and Leukemans.
Only Pauwels, Van Keirsbulck, Bille and Dockx left for OPQS and Lotto.

Fenn to lead out Cav against Swift's lead out of Stannard and Kennaugh... Wish I could see this race

Devolder attacked in the penultimate lap. 25 seconds in front of the group
Edit: 35 seconds already

Haven't seen anyone mention Michael Olsson (who?) won in Sweden
Portugal, a crash ruined the chase for the peloton and so they gave up. Breakaway of Tiago Machado and Jóni Brandão to sprint for the win. Meaning Jóni Brandão will win because Machado can't outsprint a rock
Seriously though, Brandão with a huge chance of a career-defining win

Awesome ride from Devolder, seems like he wants to prove something. It's looking very good for him.
Also, Kevin Pauwels still hanging in the favourites group. If they do come back, he can win this.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Important role for Van Avermaet, if he doesn't work, Devolder is gone
He doesn't...

Predictably Machado is outsprinted. Jóni Brandão win. 2nd year pro with no notable former results

That's going to be a fascinating finish. Perfect route for Cav to finally win the British Champs AND he has a teammate, but Sky still have 3 and Millar is the wildcard, very keen to do well in Scotland no doubt.
