Another Conti team? This is beeing a very bad year in terms of retirements and team folding. |

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but apparently Rabobank said they would stop their sponsorship (I just read it, so maybe not very reliable) if their is structured doping going on within the team (although that has basically already been confirmed, but they said they would not investigate), and apparently, Levi has hinted at that being the case. I can kind of see it as well.

This does mean that Tim Duggan is on the market again. He'll almost certainly be heading to Argos-Shimano, unless they've signed someone before the news broke.

Do they mean currently or in the past? Because it's been established there was one up through the mid-00's.

He says the data is from Liquigas' doctor (Roberto Corsetti), no idea how he got it. I don't know much about the blogger, but he seems to have a reputation, after all Vaughters chose him to interpret Hesjedal's values from the Giro.
Edit: found the source for the values:

I would assume currently. Still I think Rabobank basically looked the other way with the allegations from the past, although I think for most it was pretty obvious to see.

Damn, Spidertech .
Seems like a strange move to disband the team and then claim they are targeting world tour status.... |

Missed that.
Wow, Canada's best ever team "has" to fold because they 'must" reach the top of the sport
What was wrong with racing in decently populated races and the major North American races.
Really bad move imo.

I mean, don't tey understand that they won't get a World Tour status, at least in the near future, and the worst thing to do is stop racing if you want to prove your worth. So personally, I think they better worry about keeping Pro Conti for 2014 with this descision. Were the Sky executives high when they did this?

Odd move by Spidertech, not racing to gain sponsership so they move to WT in 2014. What possible logic is that
Hells 500 Crew and 6 x Everester
Don Rd Launching Place
Melbourne Hill Rd Warrandyte
Colby Drive Belgrave South
William Rd The Patch
David Hill Rd Monbulk
Lakeside Drive Emerald

Matt White, currently a sporting director at Orica has stepped down and confessed to doping while at US Postal:
https://www.cyclin...confession
Matt White has stepped down from his role in the management of the Orica GreenEdge team. White, who helped build the team for their debut season, was implicated in doping violations during his time at US Postal and was named in Floyd Landis’s evidence given in USADA’s investigation into Lance Armstrong and the Postal team.
White has also stepped down from his role as national selector for the Australian men's road team.
"I am aware my name has been mentioned during talks that USADA has had with former team mates of mine in their investigation regarding doping activities at the US Postal Service team," White said in a statement.
"I am sad to say that I was part of a team where doping formed part of the team's strategy, and I too was involved in that strategy. My involvement is something I am not proud of and I sincerely apologise to my fans, media, family and friends who trusted me and also to other athletes in my era that consciously chose not to dope."
And the team goes straight into PR mode:
https://greenedgec...ada-report
The management of GreenEDGE supports Matt White’s decision to step down from his position with the team during the process of evaluating his involvement in the revelations put forward by the recently released USADA report . We hope for a quick and clear resolution of this issue and will await the decision of the relevant authorities.
Until this process has run its due course, the management will refrain from making any further comments.
