Yep, and he still might take the sprint for 4th. That guy is just way too strong for only being 22 |

Yes, but the guy is 22, and it looks like it was his only chance to win, because the trio will make it barring a total blown. I'd rather have him being overenthusiastic than settling for the sprint for 4th.
Indeed I agree, but it was the wrong choice in my opinion anyway. Still amazing ride, now bring on Amstel for him. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins it even. With Valverde/Gerrans he's the next big favourite for it as well. Should be great.

I think Pozzato will win this. He is looking much fresher than Boonen.

Why the wrong choice? What else could have he done?
Agree about Amstel though, it'd be impressive if he wins.

Ballan, and Ballan again.. but Boonen closing the gap both times. I go with Pozzato for the win.

Really, really good last few kilometres there. So tense. A great sprint, I thought that Pozzato would catch him.

I think Pozzato and Ballan were stronger on the climbs, but Boonen was by far the smartest. Impressed by his calmness in the finale.
