After 4th stage 2 riders from our squad pulled off of the race,because of the effort done they are with some muscle problems,so i decided to take them of the race.This decision has a big impact on team tactics,as the squad looses 2 good helpers....this remembers me that in my manager career i had never such dificulty to choose the best tactic for a race,let Capecchi go in break to defend his KOM shirt or take the risk to let him ride with peloton and hope he can stay as KOM leader and 2nd in young class....stayed almost all night awake thinking what to do but i made a decision,Capecchi will ride with peloton...

Desperate move,insane...don´t know but Contador is up to something crazy today...attack at first climb...
..only problem is that peloton doesnt allow him to get away...
..2nd climb,10pts for the first to pass at the top...L.Y.Bak(3rd in KOM class-26pts)attack with 6,6kms to the top,can be dangerous for Capecchi but he dont react...
..M.Garcia(XAC)2nd in KOM class-28pts,attack too,this time Capecchi reacts and attack too...Garcia gives up from attack,Capecchi feels good at the moment and continue with his attack....
Capecchi caughts Bak...
..but Jufré still in front,20" ahead,Capecchi let Bak behind...
..Bak attack..
..Contador,Ivanov,Valjavec,Kuschynski,Gerdemann,Gomez Marchante,all attack for the points..
...i warn Capecchi from this attack,he looks behind and see Contador getting closer and attack...
..KOM shirt is secured,10pts for Capecchi...
Capecchi,Jufré and Contador get small gap,Ivanov is 24" behind..
..Contador attack,Capecchi let him go and wait for peloton..
After 3rd climb,Hoogerland(VAC),Knees(MRM),César Veloso(XAC),Gomez Marchante(AND) and D.López(GCE) attack...96kms to go...peloton is 3´16" behind Contador...
60kms to go..gaps and groups...
38kms...Contador still with 4´34" over peloton...
GC leader Sánchez attack,A.Schleck,Capecchi,Herrero,Pimienta go after him....
14,7kms,main contenders in this group,peloton over 1min behind... Contador 1´43" ahead..
Sánchez attacks again...
10km mark...
5km mark...
Last km,Herrero is empty...
.at the front,D.López or Contador...
..and its D.López who takes the win,Contador makes amazing stage,he´s 2nd,Nocentini 3rd...Herrero 13th.

Yes he was...and Sánchez must be in top form,great ITT and did good in every stage...but if Contador had not falled down,he would be the winner in GC...Herrero did a good ITT,he was felling -3,so he did what he could do....8 seconds are not much,sponsor is happy.

Our squad;
We join the race just before the first KOM sprint,3 riders form E1,J.Thiré(Auber93),N.O´Neill(Bahati) and F.Felline(Footon)...there is a second group with 12 riders,+49" behind E1,peloton is 3´00" from E1..
As Felline group is reaching the top of 2nd climb,E2 join E1...peloton is 4´18" behind...
30kms to go...peloton reduces gap to 1´45"...
Some riders attack from Felline group just before 20km mark..peloton is +45" behind Felline group and 1´41" from E1...
10km mark..still some riders in front..
5km mark...
2kms..Cardoso on Eeckhout wheel...
1,3km...Cardoso in good position..
600mts..
...Eeckhout is faster and wins 1st stage...

Long flat stage,one for the sprinters...we join the race just before the climb near the final..
20km mark...
..on top,Vital tries his luck...13,5km to the final...
5km mark...Vital has 43" gap over peloton...
1,5km....Vital starts to sprint...
700mts...
Vital get caught...Cardoso behind Van Dijk(WIL)
Van Dijk wins,Cardoso 2nd,E.Pinto 3rd...

Today we have the chance to take the lead but first we must do a good ITT...
Provisional standings...
First big contender for today´s stage,O.Chuzhda(CAR) makes best time,25´06"
M.Brändle,our big hope for today...he rides strong and set new best time,24´37"
Our leader,A.Durán,with a strong ride makes 2nd,+22"
Provisional standings;
Cardoso(2nd GC) will loose is place,+1´13"

Thanks,it was really a great ride from our riders..2 more in Alentejo,4th stage in a couple of minutes.

For this stage,after we yesterday gained the lead,our goal is to defend it,have one man in break to attack KOM class. and win final sprint,as it is the only we are missing...
After last try from Vital to escape failled,he´s making another one today,he goes for the KOM class....He´s alone in front after first climb,1´28" gap over E2 with 6 riders,E3 with 8 riders is 2´11" behind E2 and peloton is 4´11" to Vital...
Peloton catches E3...
Peloton catches E2...Vilela attacks..
Downhill,highpace....Durán falls down,Felline too...looking bad for us...
..but Durán manages to rejoin peloton after some hard work...
5th climb of the day,Vital with small gap over Vilela and peloton just behind...
Vital is first on top and is the new KOM leader...our first goal is complete..
48kms to go..
26,8kms...good news for us,bad news for points leader team(Verandas Willems) as their main sprinter falls down...
20km mark...
17kms to go..N.Eeckhout(Sean-Kelly) attack,49" to peloton..
10km mark...some riders attack,we are on point and respond with Valls,Brändle,Durán...
5,8kms...10 riders in front...
1,5km....Eeckhout in front,Durán,Chuzhda,Brändle,Valls...
..Chuzhda started the sprint,our riders follow and Durán makes the move and wins,Valls 2nd...great stage,we completed all goals for today..

You can really believe that it happened just like i said,(team goals for stage)because i write(on paper when playing) has the stage is rolling,so i didn´t know at the start that we could make those objectives..

Last Stage
We reach last stage leading in all fronts,lets see if we can maintain this position..
Felline is in the break but gap is getting dangerous...
..so we decide to take the front of peloton and start the pursuit...106,8kms to go..
80kms...gap is now 4´09",we are making all the work,no team helps..
50kms...gap 1´38",our team is making a great job...
20km mark...no breaks but...
..those who made this big effort loose contact with peloton...
10km mark...
5km mark....
2,5kms...
1km....
500mts...
..and Cardoso wins...
Great performance we showed here,althought startlist was weak,Footon riders can be happy.
