An easy victory for jaxika in this Quarter Final. Selwink banked a lot on set three and left his guard down for the first sets. Jaxika took advantage and goes on to the Semi-Finals!
weirdskyfan64 | vs | Vali | 1 | | 1 | 14 | | 6 | 5 | | 13 |
Weirdskyfan faces Vali after a most exciting match in the qualifying round. Master of draws, he forces Vali into a draw! The defending champion hasn't not won since the group stage last season. He didn't lose yet but it's something Vali hasn't used to, anymore. We'll need a rematch! But first, let's head to the other Quarter Finals.
Ryant and jihardy fight hard and each take a set with points to spare. But the problem is that they both face each other with 5 points in set 3. This means the second QF is also a draw. We'll need another rematch. So let's head to the final match first.
Waghlon | vs | matt17br | 9 | | 9 | 0 | | 11 | 11 | | 0 |
Unbelievable... Matt and our most intimidating player, Waghlon, draw in the first set. This means 3 out of the 4 QFs have ended in a draw! What are the odds of that?
And so we need three rematches. Let's get on with it!
weirdskyfan64 | vs | Vali | 7 | | 14 | 12 | | 2 | 1 | | 4 |
After a surprising draw, Vali didn't take any more risks. He gave weirdskyfan the second set as a gift and then finished him off in the last set. Vali keeps his reputation high, but his oh-so strong armour has been dented lightly after needing a replay to finish off weirdskyfan.
This rematch, too, was finished in three sets. Jihary played some cruel joke on ryant by offering him set 2 with 14 to 0. If you "lose" 14 points to 0, it'll be tough to win the other sets.
Waghlon | vs | matt17br | 9 | | 0 | 0 | | 10 | 11 | | 10 |
And the final rematch of the QF. Waghlon with an incredible tactic, coming forth with exactly the same numbers as the original match. Matt changed his line-up to a traditional late-match 0-10-10. But Waghlon didn't give Matt a fighting chance with these tactics and goes on to the Semi-Finals and slowly turns into an underdog for the title! Who's brave enough to take him on? Now it seems only Vali can stop this menace. |

You can now send in your Match results by pm.
However, since a draw cannot be allowed in the knock-out stage, additional tactics are required. Thus you must send in three sets of tactics. If the first match ends in a draw, it is replayed with the second set of tactics. Same to the third. If the third should also be a draw, the winner is decided by a
1. the rock-paper-scissor
2. coin toss
So you should now send in:
Match 6
Set 1: x points
Set 2: x points
Set 3: x points
Set 1: x points
Set 2: x points
Set 3: x points
Set 1: x points
Set 2: x points
Set 3: x points
Extra: Rock/Paper/Scissor (select one)
You can also send in your sheets for the next games, but that's optional.
Deadline: 23/01/2016 at 20:00 GMT +1 time.
Good luck! |

Well even if. I had made it to the Quatar finals, I wouldn't have got anywhere.

It's time for the Semi-Finals! Only Vali has any experience at this level of the game, and he is defending champion. But the others, jaxika, jihardy and Waghlon have already proved they're worthy to be here, too. They are the best four players in the world.
And now, for the first duel. Jaxika against jihardy.
Spoiler
Jihardy with a relative steady start, but enough to beat jaxika in set 1. 4 - 1, low scores so lots of action still int the coming sets!
Set 2 was a clear victory for jihardy. And thus, banking on set 3 a lot, leaves jaxika disillusioned and loser of today's match. Jihardy can compete in the big Final, while jaxika will have to battle for the third place, bronze medal.
The second match between Vali and Waghlon.
Spoiler
Oh no, he won't back down. Waghlon made a lasting impression on most of his competitors but Vali is cold, can't be swayed. Vali takes out both guns and takes the headshot. Doesn't bother to lose a single set and sends Waghlon packing, no mercy.
The killer goes on to the finale and will face jihardy there. Certainly jihardy will have to come up with something nobody has ever thought off. Because how do you beat an ice cold killer like Vali? We'll have to find out...
And so we have our finalists! Two players fighting for the top spot and the other two will battle for the third spot, the remaining podium place. |

Before playing the finale, some nice thing to know: jihardy and Vali were in the same group in the first season of High Risk. In fact, their first match ever in this game was against each other. They drew...
Vali actually didn't start so well. He drew his first match and then lost against roturn. But he turned things around and progressed, but was so close to being out. Looking at the table, he progressed because he had won 1 set more than jihardy, who was then out of the game.
Vali hasn't lost a game since then. Quarter finals, semi finals, finals. Three group wins in season 2, quarter finals, semi finals.
Vali would meet roturn again in the finale and beat him.
Vali meets jihardy again now in the finale.
Of this original group C, we have three finalists. What a strong group that was, looking back on it!
Group C | | | | | | | | | Player | MP | MW | ML | MD | SW | SL | SD | Points | roturn | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 6 | 1 | 0 | 8 | Vali | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 3 | jihardy | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 1 | 3 | Luxemburger | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 6 | 0 | 0 |
