Nice win for him. Very messy sprint there. Riders were sliding everywhere. I think a guy like Renshaw got shut out like 3 or 4 times.

Now if only PCM.Daily did each way bets , after tossing up between the two I backed Haussler and not Wippert. Possibly would have been Haussler's win if he had not let Wippert muscle in on his own IAM Cycling train at the last minute.
Could be beginning of a beautiful season for Drapac if they kick on from this great result.

Was between Wippert and Meersmen for my bet, I could swear I picked Wippert...

I swear I was going to pick Wippert but I had a funny feeling he was going to come second...

Good win for Wippert.
Also, how did Brutt finish 4th in a mass sprint?! |

Guess who was the single member voting for Wippert.
Btw. the first successful bet for me this year.

This was a weird Tour Down Under.
2 stage wins for UniSA, one for Drapac. Never had expected this before.
GC win to a pretty surprising rider as well as everyone was looking at teh Porte/Evans battle with some outside bets like LLS, Dumoulin, Impey or Rogers.
Kittel just like last year without any chance in the the Tour Down Under. Just not his race I guess.
He said prerace, that the two Adelaide stages are the only focus for him. So he won the Classic but not the Criterium.
This unpredictability of this race plus the course and many riders not yet in great form, makes this race really special. Definitely one of my favourite races for years. In especially since adding Willunga Hill as uphill climb and even more since trying to add 1-2 more tough stages.

Happy that Wippert got the win there. And hopefully not the start of another season of podiums for Hausseler.

Must say Robbie McEwen is a great co-commentator for cycling races.
He analyses the race pretty well and is adding quite a lot. |

Totally agree with you there he gives a great rider's perspective on the critical moments of a stage and tells it how it is (much better than liggett) |

All of the above, in regards to McEwen. Would be great to see him commentate more races if he wants to.

Agree on the McEwen point, great to see another dimension to the commentary with a recent rider, I'd definitely like to see him do more races.
