What is the difference between "PCMdaily2014DBV1.cdb" and "PCMdaily2014DBV1-Local.cdb"?
Have not yet started the career while waiting for V2, but wanted to know which database I should open with Lachis Editor in order to change some stats?
Or will there be an updated database anyway? |

The latter is the local.cdb. That's not the DB to play with, just the local.cdb you need to play with in order to use the first .cdb of the two. To edit stats, you use DYN_Cyclist in Lachi's editor.

Okay thanks, so I can edit the first .cdb (not the local.cdb) and then start a career using my edited .cdb?
Or would it be better to first start the career and then edit some stats (in order to wait for the calculation of some stats at the start opf a career)? |

PCMdaily DB Backup should be located in *Where you installed PCM*/PCMdaily DB Backup.
Most likely C/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013/PCMdaily DB Backup.

I'm going to start La Vuelta now, it said that they give sixteen wildcards but they only give 4, as a result, only ten teams ride the Vuelta, 6 WorldTour and the four who received the wildcards.
Can I solve this or I have to ride the Vuelta with ten teams?

You can add teams manually in DYN_Team_Races and, if you want, a roster as well.

It said it gave 16 wildcards? That's a problem even before the fact that only 10 teams will ride it  Has this happened in other years/other careers or only this time? If only this time, you could do what Selwink said and it should work. If it happens every time, have you made any changes to the DB (date of the Vuelta, number of teams in STA_race_rules)? Have you tried re-downloading the .cdb file from the 1st post and checking if it also happens?

When you say purple icons, do you mean all icons (like team logos, team minishirts, etc), or just really the flags and equipment menu?
If it's all icons, instead of a problem with the Local.cdb it might be that the files haven't been installed to the correct directory; in that case, check point 1 of the FAQ. If it's only the flags and equipment menu, well, the solution is only that one (replacing Local.cdb)  Sometimes the game keeps replacing it for the original Local.cdb, so you might have to try more than one time to make it work. Marking Daily's Local.cdb as 'Read-only' might also help.

Hello there.
Just downloaded the mod / database / [insert whatever is correct here], and actually, I have about 3/4 of the jerseys of the personalized teams in Career mode (and that only, everything else is correct, except for some flags, but not with the major riders, so it's not important)... I searched for an explanation, but I didn't find a valid one.
I installed it in the right folder, verified and re-verified. There wasn't any mistakes while installing / dl'ing / ... it. So I'm pretty troubled, is there anything particular to do that I may have forgotten except :
Download .torrent > Download it with a torrent > launch .exe > Move to the Steam\SteamApps\Common\Pro Cycling etc... > Launch the game > Select the good database in the options > GO! ? |

No, of course it's possible
V2 is just for new stuff that came out after the V1 release
I'd play with the Stat Update though, it's out since a few days(downloadsection)

1. PCMdaily Expansion Pack
2. PCMdaily 2014 DB V1
3. Stat update
Otherwise the pack will not work
