As I'm preparing for the download to finish (still some days to go) I have a noobish question regarding the database. I already have the huge French Community Database installed and that database overwrote a lot of my files in my PCM-folder. Do I need to reinstall PCM for PCMdailys expansion pack to work, or am I okey with both? Thanks for your help |

Well, if you have both, I think PCMdaily DB will be okay(not 100% sure), but the FCD should have some errors.
I'd recommend making an extra install of PCM 2013, and put the PCMdaily DB in it.

Thanks for all the work guys. I've barely touched PCM13 since I bought it as I was waiting for this (and enjoying my PCM11 career while I waited), but now I have downloaded it and am excited to get going...after I've nobbled Froome's stats a little |

If I have installed the daily expansion pack, but I play with another cdb, will I still play with all the the other things there are in the expansion pack? |

First off, thanks for the amazing DB!
I only have one question: if i start a new game with the FCD, all the faces in the cyclists/body-folder are shown. But once I start the game with the PCMDaily-DB, i only get the ones out of the cyclists/professional-folder. Do you know any way to get all the faces displayed in the DailyDB? Thanks in advance.
The .cdb needs to be edited. For that reason, we'll be releasing an extra that includes about the maximum amount of faces

Other DBs might install files that the Expansion Pack doesn't install (counting on the files that come with the game), so it's advised to make a clean installation. But if you install two DBs in the same game, yes, it's more probable that the 1st one you've installed will have problems rather than the other way around.

No, most of the features are linked to the .cdb you use. Variants and teams' graphics are normally compatible, but on behalf of the latter, some DBs for whatever reason decide to rename the teams' graphics compared to the names that come with the game; so variants are the only think that will be 100% compatible. The rest, it depends, but mostly they won't.

If I start a career now will I be able to switch to the no-equipment version later on or do I need to restart? |

Need to restart, though you could also edit the no-equipment changes to apply to your carrer.

As far as I remember the editing is not straight forward - as I'm not use to editing - so maybe better just to wait.
Thanks for the quick answer and cheers for making the DB. Much appreciated. |

Oh FroomeDog, I've been downloading for 50 hours and I'm on 44.9%. Stop your moaning . Did hit 300kB/s earlier but it spends most of the time around 70-100kB/s. Monday night/Tuesday morning for me. |

Ok
Mine is 400kb/s from 6am - 9am and for the rest of the time around 20kb/s, because my internet is really bad if there are any other people online at all. Hopefully your download finishes a bit quicker that it started. |

Having uploaded around 2.5 terabytes the last two days, the servers helping with the torrent sharing will soon be handed back to the original owners, probably tomorrow. I hope it won't affect speeds too much, when they shut down µTorrent. |

Damn dude. That hurts. I feel bad for moaning about my what ended up being only 36. I had the same thing until last night, when it just jumped up to about 500kbs and never really left that. Hoping you get the same lucky burst soon.
For the record, my uT is still running and seeding out, with PCM as the only avaliable file XD. I seem to have a limit of about 120kbs on uploading, but every little helps! |

I downloaded the file by using uTorrent. When I doubleclicked the exe-file a warning came up saying I was authorized and it was blocked and removed by Norton!
Now the exe-file is gone, but the others are still there.

Lesson 1 of life is to never install Norton. Lesson 2 is to uninstall it. |

I want to mention that the DH limits of existing riders are a bit overkill. I see 40 riders with DH limit 84+

Well, you installed the DB in the wrong folder.
Install again, now manually selecting your PCM gamefolder when asked where to install.

Thanks for noticing, will take a further look into that. Luckily it's only downhill It's also not the biggest worry seeing as DH has no training bonus, so it's worth checking how many riders will develop up to that

The answer to by far most questions...
You have not installed the Expansion Pack to the correct folder.
If you have the Steam version, you have to manually change the installation path. In most cases, the correct path is something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013.
If you have the regular version, please check that your installation folder says 'Season 2013'. If it's e.g. 'Saison 2013' or 'Seizonen 2013' or similar, you may have to change the installation path too.
