Jmmmm I wonder if his Plan is going to work. I cant remember someone besides of course skybot Froome who made a top 10 in 2 consecutive GT (Giro-Tour or Tour-Vuelta) in the last years not to mention he has been racing since February. We will see. |

Contador in 2011,Sastre in 2008,Evans in 2007 was second in TdF and fourth in Vuelta,Menchov in 2008.Top 10 in two consecutive GTs is not that difficult for a rider like Purito.I see him at least in top five in this year Vuelta. The route favours him.

No suprise considering that was the toughest Giro of the last 15 years
Nibali and Rodriguez couldn't even do a good Giro-Vuelta double that year because of Zomegnans route

I think it's possible, but since the Tour route and the way they raced there has been so hard... I can't imagine someone doing as well in the Vuelta as in the tour.
Then again, in the Vuelta you can be in slightly worse form and still finish in the top 10 or perhaps do better than in de TDF because of the worse field in the vuelta |

Nibali, rodrÃguez, Valverde, Henao, sánchez, kreuziger, roche, majka, betancur, the schlecks, Van garderen?, Basso, and maybe pinot.
Real good peloton for the Vuelta
+ bonusseconds makes the race very close and exiting.
It's gonna be so good. |

Andy won't be going to the Vuelta and Fränk doesn't have a contract yet. Think Tejay will do USAPCC, seems more logical

The temperature in Spain is too hot for Spilak. He perform good just in extreme conditions.
Anton will be just a domestique for Sanchez. Also Moreno will support Purito.

you advance you very much, I'm sure daniel moreno is able to outperform Purito mountain on the Vuelta, and I do not think it is the tdf has its maximum potencial, daniel moreno arrives in a beautiful age and the performance improves, and already he was more regular in 2011 on the Vuelta.i think purito too shoort for make a good vuelta,
anton has made this vuelta a major ambition and saw the main contender and profile stages and % of mountain happened is really a cut its measurement and easily surpass a samuel sanchez end of the season |

Zdenek Stybar is claiming that he will try to ride for the good GC place at the Vuelta, quite a unique combo after his fantastic showing at Roubaix.
Poland was his first race after four months break due to knee surgery and he was able to finish 24th overall despite tough mountain stages, even when his knee still hurt according to his words.
I still wonder what he wants to specialize on the road, he is still testing his abilities probably. And he has some!

Well no offence to him, but with his skills and body, he should do classics work, also what interests him more. I don't see him riding top 20 in a GT. Maybe 28th, yeah.
2nd place in Roubaix on first year focused on the road? STICK TO THAT! |

I also think the same, that is what i was surprised with him talking about going for GC. On the other hand, he is not that far from stage racing body type. He is 3cms shorter than Froome and same weight...Stybar only looks heavy
