There's a rather simple explanation to that issue: You didn't pick any equipment prior to the race.

Try picking the 2nd one in the list at wheels and helmets (or click the 2nd one, then the 1st one again). |

I tried one of the world-tour configs, and it works! And then I tried with the config I used before, and that one is also working. So the solution for the no helmets - no wheels = just take another config instead of confirming the actual one
Anyway, thanks for the help. I'm going to bed now. And again sorry for the inappropriate reaction in the first place. |

The problem is that when you go in 3D race for the first time with a custom team, you see wheels/helmet highlighted as 'selected', but actually they are not selected. On the savegame the custom team is set to ride with equipment_marques values that, in the Official DB, correspond to wheels, helmets and frames 'marques', but in the PCMDaily DB, corresponds only to frames marques (more specifically: in the Official Release, the marques with ID 1 is for wheels, ID 7, frames, and ID 10, helmets. In the PCMDaily DB, all marques with IDs 1-11, thus including the three above, are for frames).
I'll try some tests to see if the equipment_marques values for custom teams are locked or random at the start of each carer and hopefully change this for the next version of the DB so that you don't need to select wheels/helmets (because the equipment_marques values for custom teams will lead to valid marques of wheels/helmets). Hope that was clear to understand

Team Cykelcity should really be included in the db it´s one of Scandinavias best teams. They were ranked as scandinavias second best team. This might be the wrong thread but I didn´t know were else to put it.
I totally agree. |

Hi guys, yesterday bought the game on the steam sale and now need some help : I downloaded the expansion pack via the mirrors, it got a bit messed up (part 3 had a weird file name, i had to delete the last couple numbers) but in the end i could choose both parts and install it.
Now i can choose the different variants for the stage races, however the PCMdaily database is nowhere to be found (can´t choose it in options). What did i do wrong ? Can i just download the DB (just the DB) and add it ?
EDIT : Just found out that the DB got saved to User/documents/proy cycling manager 12/mod/Database
I moved it from there to the steam folder opf PCM12 (and there database) , but no dice ...

Right click the file -> Properties (should be the last option in the menu), then there'll be an (unchecked) box "Read Only".
I ticked the local.cdb as Read Only, but it's still got overwritten when I start a new game and therefore the pictures of equipment are not shown in the game. |

Hello,
Thanks for great work on this expansion pack !
I however have a few questions regarding it mainly in regard to future versions and official patches.
Would a save game from my current 1.2.0.0 install and current PCMpack for 1.2.0.0 be playable/loadable if there is:
- An official update which i install and I do not install a new version of PCMpack.
- An official patch which i install alongside an updated PCMpack install.
My main concern is starting a career and having to restart the whole thing every time there is a PCMpack or official patch( at least at the moment where they might actually patch something !)
Thanks ahead for your replies !

@Whomario and v1adimir: I'm not sure if it'll help, but try downloading Patch 1.2.0.0 from the "Recommended Downloads" in the menu in the right and installing it manually (rather than have the game installing it for you). Games installed from Steam are apparently having problems more frequently than the normal DL/disc version, perhaps that would help it.
@wrarbikegame: in both cases you'll probably be able to keep playing your old save, but it's likely that you won't get all the updates from the new patch (neither from the next DB). What people usually do is wait until the game is fully patched and the DBs compatible with that patch have been released, and then start a career (if you want to run a very long career)

The thing is Steam updates the game automatically besides the pink squares do have disappeared, and now there is nothing at all... |

If the pink squares have disappeared and now there's nothing, then it's correct (yes, it's normal to have nothing, there are no equipment pictures in the DB, too much equipment to have pictures for them all ).

RusVelo is riding Canyon bikes, though in real life they are riding on BMC bikes. Same thing with team NetApp riding Cube in game and Simplon in real life.
Katusha is riding with TT-helmets in regular races...

OK, I got it! Thanks for the help! But how I choose equipment when I can't see how it looks? |

You don't have to do it. The equipment has been assigned to the teams so that it looks like in real life cycling. Why would you have to change it? |
