I feel like I'm in a monty python parody.
I just passed a street where, SIDE BY SIDE are two banks. The "Standard Bank" and the "Unique Bank"

Wow...
Saturday we got and october blizzard, like 2 feet of snow. Trees are everywhere. And power outages are 100% of the town... We lost it saturday and we're not getting it back till next week... They even banned hhalloween until this staurday because so many trees and power lines fell... Living like a pioneer in the northeastern USA...

Not really. Unless he's using a satellite phone (unlikely), mobile phones transmit via a tower. Which requires power...

You don't get internet from a tower, that comes from a satellite. But I'm not gonna fight with you. All I know is that I have internet. There's plenty of proof of the storm. Just look it up.

Say hello to Mr. Mike 'News' Jensen, journalist at Danish TV 2 (2nd largest TV station, broadcaster of the Tour de France and most other major sport events) from 1st of February 2012.
Ironically, I won't be doing TV

Most likely, yes.
The job is a part of my education, so it's a 1 year internship. During the year, I'll rotate between three different "sections" (editorials) - four months at each. I'll probably spend four months with news, four months with sports, still undecided about the last four.
I was told that there was zero chance that they'd send me to France for the Tour. Instead, there was a reasonable chance for the Olympics |
