Dumb?
he should have followed Gilbert? If you did not noticed..no one was capable to do that today
No but he didnt even try. Never worked with Gerrans. And when Kwiatkowski attacked he was like OH NO MY BELOVED 2nd place is going away. Just dumb. Glad Gerrans beat him in the sprint.

kwiatkowski same time played it like "any" young rider . wasting to much energy and trying to close all atack's time himself. finally having way weaker result then he's condition actually was
Good race to watch at the end. (It not livening up untill the end was good as it meant I had to do revision) From a fantasy point of view I had 1, 3, 4, 5 and 9.

Yeah cause Kwiatkowski actually raced to win. Tried to catch Gilbert on the flat. Not settle for 2nd place sprint like Piti.
All hail the all-seeing vote! I kid obviously, but the most obvious and voted for option was what happened in the race. Well played by BMC there with the attack by Sammy Sanchez that the others decided they had to spend energy following before Gilbert had even shown his hand.

Gilbert was strong but I think he also had a lot of luck. Everybody was taking the long way around and didn't even notice Gilbert going past on the ionside.
Also, it's worth mentioning that Slagter was outside top 20 and behind even Wegmann, so HA I told you guys. Not that I wanted him to do badly and he still has a lot of time to improve.
