Dumb?
he should have followed Gilbert? If you did not noticed..no one was capable to do that today

No but he didnt even try. Never worked with Gerrans. And when Kwiatkowski attacked he was like OH NO MY BELOVED 2nd place is going away. Just dumb. Glad Gerrans beat him in the sprint.

Brabantse Pijl and Gold Race so far, just like 2011... doesn't take much to see what's coming next at Fleche and L-B-L.

Gilbert is still nowhere near 2011 level.

Of course not, but apparently 2014 level just may be enough.

kwiatkowski same time played it like "any" young rider . wasting to much energy and trying to close all atack's time himself. finally having way weaker result then he's condition actually was

Gilbert nows how to drink beer. That was bloody quick.

Good race to watch at the end. (It not livening up untill the end was good as it meant I had to do revision) From a fantasy point of view I had 1, 3, 4, 5 and 9.

Yeah cause Kwiatkowski actually raced to win. Tried to catch Gilbert on the flat. Not settle for 2nd place sprint like Piti.

edit: If I had any idea how to use windows movie maker I would past AGR in the television Pfft

All hail the all-seeing vote! I kid obviously, but the most obvious and voted for option was what happened in the race. Well played by BMC there with the attack by Sammy Sanchez that the others decided they had to spend energy following before Gilbert had even shown his hand.

I'd more or less use the same words, albeit with a different conclusion.

Surely that's what it looks like in your eyes, but let me be more factual :

Gilbert was strong but I think he also had a lot of luck. Everybody was taking the long way around and didn't even notice Gilbert going past on the ionside.

Very smart racing from BMC, setting a trap for young Kwiat.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Matthews on 12th deserves a special mention, impressive result.

So is 14th for Rebellin and 20th by Dumoulin. Nice to see young Enrico Barbin doing well too Cool

13th for Rebellin?

Also, it's worth mentioning that Slagter was outside top 20 and behind even Wegmann, so HA I told you guys. Not that I wanted him to do badly and he still has a lot of time to improve.

We'll see. This is only the Cauberg. The climbs in the Ardennes are longer than those in AGR and in 2011 he won all three classics with ease.

Valverde, Gerrans and Kwiat were trying so hard to get in each other's wheels they didn't even notice Vanendert riding by.

They lost a second place to fricking Jelle Vanendert... who didn't show anything in two years... ON A FLAT ROAD! They clearly were playing games.

Wilier wrote:

He's Belgian after all. I don't understand Gerrans though, I thought Aussies love drinking bad beer Wink

The 2011 Gilbert will never come back, but the 2010 Gilbert might do so.
