I've got a problem with the installer: at 100% it says there's a read error and it will not most likely work correctly. Is there a solution? |

If you have a torrent, then force a check of the files and wait till it finishes then try again.

Quick very stupid question: the DB files (i.e. PCMdailyExpansionPack-2013NC.cdb et al files) do go into */Cyanide/Pro Cylcing Manager - Season 2013/Database, yes?
It was eleven more than necessary.

Actually they go in Documents/PCM/Mod/Database The Local also goes in Documents/PCM, though it's useful to paste the Local to the directory you've mentioned too to avoid any compatibility problem.

Out of curiosity, if I want to further edit teams, riders, shirts, etc, what tools did you guys use this year?

Same as last year If you mean the DB editor, we've used the Full Editor like usually. Though it's more of using the Full Editor to extract the tables and then Excel in editing. If you mean shirts, I guess it's up to each graphic maker but I'd believe GIMP and Photoshop are the most used ones. Not sure if I've understood the question correctly...

You did, as usual. Thanks. Excel via Full Editor as it has been for some years.

First off, thanks for the amazing DB!
I only have one question: if i start a new game with the FCD, all the faces in the cyclists/body-folder are shown. But once I start the game with the PCMDaily-DB, i only get the ones out of the cyclists/professional-folder. Do you know any way to get all the faces displayed in the DailyDB? Thanks in advance. |

Umm... I for some reason can only use the NZ mirror download. And files 9 and 14 both stop downloading randomly. Any help?

Really looking forward to get a career going this weekend with this amazing database!
I was wondering what rider development has been used when you tweaked the database. The default 0.5 or will something else make it more realistic?
Thanks! |

I think 0,3/0,4 would be the most realistic development

0.3 is the standard used by most people looking for realistic development. It works really well for 3-5 season careers.
For shorter 1-2 seasons go higher 0.5-0.7 is good, as it's that bit faster, allowing youngsters to grow and create some diversity.
For really long careers 5+ season perhaps go lower, 0.1-0.2

DB is great!! Just one thing i don't like: aren't the stats of the young cyclist a bit too low? When I create a custom team the higher stats are around 67-68, but in real life a lot of U23 cyclist are already competitive when they start race in pro rank |

Well, don't forget that there are 19 year olds with 68MO(f.e) as well, who can be 75MO(or higher when lucky) when 22.
