Sorry to you and Admir, i just can help myself when i see blind people, i want to try to bring them to the other side of the street. But i will leave the topic after this post and will not comment further, as i would be offending you. That is also one of my problems with religions. You cant speak about it with believers, because they are offended by everything what you say that does not correspond with their belief.
I am offended that you say i am blind, not because you say you think different. I am not blind,i just have my opinion and that's it. And you will never bring me on another side of street, since (i already said) i am smart/old enough to know some stuff and to realize something. Live whatever you think is best, do not provocate me and my religion. Since that's probably most important thing in my life.
I would not believe in it if miracle didn't happen to me, i have tons of examples but that just can't be explained. Cheers

I mean no offense, I accept most people's beliefs, but I can't deny I am fraught with skepticism.

This should also apply to you. You seem to believe that god does not exist and if somebody tells differently you talk about being blind. Have you ever considered that you could be the blind one?
Blind? You apologise with a thinly veiled insult?
I shall try to avoid saying what has been said by both Lachi and Admir before me, but i can give you an example of a miracle:
4 days before a serious bike crash I bought a helmet, up until then i'd always worked on the basis that i could avoid a crash. Now, 4 days later I get hit by a car driven by a drunk guy. He sends me flying and my only point of contact is the helmet just above my left temple.
Miracle 1: Complete change of mindset saves my life, no obvious explanation as to why i had sed change
Fast forward 2hours to me lying on a hospital bed with 14 brain haemorrhages, by rights even now i should be dying, doctors give me an initial prognosis of 12hours.
Word gets out to my church, family and a few other people, all of whom start to pray for me. 12 hours later, I have 14seriously reduced haemorrhages, and the doctors change my prognosis to surviving, I'm moved from ICU to a normal ward. Fast forward another 12 hours, Scans show that the lesions on my brain have all reduced to between 0% and 10% of the size, despite being trapped in inoperable positions, showing no signs of reducing after 2hours.
Miracle 2: Surviving.
Now i know that you and many others will find other explanations for why i survived, but the doctors treating me couldn't and by rights i should be dead. For me that was the hand of god.

I am blind in many things, but non existence of God is a fact, so there is hardly room for debate.
And i dont think people who believe are something less, we are all equal in this (on the other hand, nature made some people more or less gifted in terms of health or capabilities).
I just feel sorry for them. Because when you accept that everything good and bad is not because of good or bad decisions of good or bad people, you are lying to yourself and move responsibility to imaginary being. Your life is easier, but you are not helping the others much.
I had to react, despite i said otherwise, sorry for that. I also have a belief, but i believe on individual will and everyday clashes of individual wills and needs.
My view on Admir or Baggie does not change with their belief, it is their choise obviously and i still love you guys.
Edit: I am glad that you are in better condition now Baggie, whatever it was that saved you.

Ok, am I the only one thinking that the ammount of spam-bots talking about fake passports and other fake stuff is rising to the max? Seriously CT, when did that happen?
1. What about arrow hitting my cousin right in eye and after going to almost all "best" hospitals (he was in Houston, he was in Belgium and in Switzerland) , all doctors said that he hasn't absolutely any chance to see on that eye. But we decided to try these treatments, still nothing changed. Now , a year after that accident, he slightly start to get his eye feelings. Firstely , he was only able to recognize colours, after that some shapes , and now , he is almost able to see everything. How do you explain that?
On side note, he is religious guy.
2. I was on jogging with my school friend, while suddenly, pit bull appeared. He was pretty angry, and he started chasing us. I have phobia from dogs, since one dog literally jumped on me when i was young. I was in big trauma back in time, and still feel consequences. After long minute of running, i saw that this dog is going to catch us and i had to do something- nothing in front of us but i got a little thing on my mind. Few years ago, when i was still kid (1st-2nd grade) , our Islamic teacher said that when we say some words (Fire x3 , but its not pronounced like Fire on English, but that's not important) evil (seitan) is going to get out of soul of that dog/cat and that animal is going to stop. And guess what? After i told Fire 3x times in myself, running at full speed, that dog just got break. He literally stopped, turned and just walked on like a boss. No, i can swear that he was not tired , and i can swear that's just more than pure luck.
3. I was on skiing trip ,this year on Kopaonik (biggest mountain in Serbia). At february , some major storms occurred in this area , but we still decided that we're going to ski. First few days, it was perfect time for skiing, ice was everywhere, just perfect for challenge. Last day of our trip, it was just disaster. Wind was absolutely nondurable, but i still decided to go on smallest track, since it's safe there. It was really foggy and i actually missed a gondola for that safest track , and gone on TOP of mountain, biggest TOP in Serbia (2500m) - Pancicev Vrh. Track was closed that day,but gondola was still working , so i was able to get up. I saw few guys in front of me so i thought it's pretty safe on top. After i came on top,i couldn't see absolutely, absolutely anything. I was scared, i was scared as shit. How the hell i am going to go down? This is nature, i am going to loose and no one else is going to find me. I stopped for a second, and i couldn't see my finger. I swear i couldn't see it.
That's it, i am going to go with TOP speed, i don't have anything to get. I'll lose myself,or i'll die like a pussy. Somehow, i managed to get throught only pass on that mountain (which is 10m wide - from probably 3000 meters around that) and to get on right track downhill. I can't really believe that was pure luck, since that would happen in 1/100 cases.
ALL OF THESE SOUND REALLY UNBELIAVABLE AND STUPID AS HELL (IN SOME POINT) , BUT BELIEVE ME , THIS IS REAL STORY.
I'm not going to get into it because I have no interest in getting in a stupid argument, but although some of those are very interesting cases (the arrow in the eye, and bb32 surviving when told you couldn't, I wish you all the best), similar occurrences have happened countless times throughout history, to people religious, and not religious. To claim that these particular events are somehow the work of a greater force out of your control is quite preposterous.

It's fine to talk about it. In the Difficult topics. Hasn't this come up enough times for you to know that? Just move the discussion.

This. This is awesome.
@Teddy: It's called science.
As my single statement, I wish to say that I am the only one who follows my own religion. I am, self-deemed, a scientific creationist. I believe in the power of science and I also believe that someone had to set the universe off. Aliens did not seed us crystals, and to say with utmost confidence, I can say that the above entity, whether God, Allah, El-Shaddai, or whatever, does have a guiding hand in life, but does not have omniscient powers and absolute control of everything. So, I am religious, but science keeps me from becoming a, excuse me if I sound racist, black choir lady. I stay balanced, and as a result, do not become lost in either side's propaganda and rumors to keep you trapped in that group. Coming from a hyper-conservative Christian home, I understand that religion is not for everybody, as some people think they can outsmart, or outthink, religious members, and then turn their own way. Personally, I turned from absolute Christianity because my parents made me believe that everything was evil, and I felt trapped by all the rules and pressures of Christianity. So, I kept what I did believe, and try to keep an open mind about ideas so that I can be smarter, not more ignorant.
Apologies if I offended anyone, and Eid-Mubarak.

Scientific creationism is a semi-religion imo though. I mean, it branched from Christianity.

Nah, it'd the other way round : religion is creationism. Man has created God when he (man) started wondering about everything surrounding him and needed an easy and absolute answer to everything.

Because that makes sense...
