And today in my accounting class it came up, and apparently up 98% of your paycheck can be taken away due to various taxes in Sweden (or some Euro country). Just wanted to know if this was true, as I find it hard to believe.
I think we (in France) are one of the most charged people. Not that I'm saying it's good or bad, but it's just like that.
So, our net salary is about 78% of the "official" salary, and the employer taxes for salaries are about 60 %, so we get only half of what our employers pay for us.
Then there's the regular income tax, which can go up to 50 % (our new president says that incomes above 1,0 M€ a year should be taxed at a 75 % rate). With an average salary (slightly above the national average), and no tricks or very little to reduce it, I pay... 8% of taxes.
Then there's the VAT, that cannot excess 25 % in Europe (UE that is). For most products it's 20,6 % here.
Of course I/we pay other taxes too, but they're not directly related to my pay check.
So, no matter how you look at it, 98 % of taxes seems totally out of proportion. |

Thanks, I really enjoyed cleaning up more than 200 posts...
Swedish people generally pay 48 % of their pay checks in taxes. In addition to this, there's 25 % VAT on most stuff. There's no chance it even gets close to 98 %. |

I actually asked Aab-Ern if there is a possibility to delete all posts in one step. He wanted to try this today, just in case there is another mega spam bot and not just a few posts like most times.
That said I am obviously some very lazy guy.

Can't you integrate some captcha questions stuff?
With cycling related questions etc. so spam bots can't registrate?

Finally done with all the schoolwork today, after some hectic final weeks. Now there's just an easy week without working left.
In August I'll begin upper secondary school. Will be nice with some change, although it's a bit sad to leave the classmates I've been with during the last four years. Really going to enjoy the vacation this summer, as I know a there's a lot of hard work awaiting.
Happy birthday Pelli
And enjoy your vacation

You could always intergrate one of those annoying captcha things into the registration?

I think it's worldwide that people can't drink until they 18 but can have sex at 16. I love this kinda stupid law Love the jokes from McIntyre about it.
Happy Birthday Pelli I am surprised you even were on the website today On such a day it's party and girls only Again, big happy birthday

Congrats Pelli!
Funny you're 16, I expected you to be a few years older.
Which is a big compliment for your English teacher
