You could always try leaving a rounded border around the logo, or adding a pettern to the logo? this would mean you could use the whole thing more easily
Of course, it's your jersey, but just a thought as to how it might work

No, i literally mean, just around the letters, you could do it with masking and create a layer over the top, to leave a small rounded edge around each of the letters and the logo

I am probalby the worst structured shirt-maker when i comes to layers. ANFreeman taught me a lot when we collaborated, but I am still useless at it.
