Thank you! And the answer is absolutely never And after his loss at the too long, for Kragh’s liking, TdF prologue last season, it was great to see him back to winning ways here. |

It's a bit funny, but my dumb ass thought that the second to last stage was Team Time Trail. Hahaha

This is always an interesting race, with that one mountain stage that may or may not shape the entire GC on the last day. There are some climbers here who can really hurt Leknessund. But on a good day he might be able to finish near the front and get a good GC result.
Also curious what Aleotti and Carboni can do.

Always cool to see SKA do his thing. Congrats, ember!
I hope Gaudu and Cort can do something in the more challenging part of the race, but it's a strong field, so let's see ..

Not much to say about the prologue SKA doing SKA things.
Coquard completely out of the battle for the win was a surprise. Kennett finishing off a great race start for Specialized and grabbing the yellow must be sweet. Not the best sprint debut for Adomaitis in our colours.
Congrats ember and WJ! Thanks for the reports Imladrik!

10th...that was bad. Just was never in the fight. Hopefully he can be better in the next flat stage.
Congrats Kennet on the win!

Don't know what Jiang got into over the winter break but his sprint ambitions have to end here.

Disappointing first stages for Zhao. Prologue just too much competition. But to not even sprint when he is tied for the best ACC in the field is worrying, was assuming that would help even out his 77 spr but if it doesn't then his usefulness is definitely impacted.
Yates solid as always.

Very happy with the win for Kragh! There is not that many riders inside 20 seconds, especially looking at Coquard, so maybe he can hold yellow for a bonus day, which could potentially be huge on the first «easy» hilly stage, as it might make him competitive there. One stage at the time, though, and we really got what we hoped for here on the opening stage
Also thank you for the report. Imladrik
Grats on the stage win ember! My man Dylan coming for that yellow with a leadout in white, don't worry about it.
Someone got it right! Congratulations Kennett and you
Kragh being part of the sprint was very, very encouraging, and also what I hoped for when he got yellow. Sprinting to 4th place was great and well above expectations, and also even keeping him in green. Not sure if the green jersey gives him the added power and beneficial positioning that yellow would have done on the hilly stage 3, but it would be cool to see him go for it.
If not, fingers crossed we get to see Romo for the first time in a Aker shirt |

Congrats whitejersey! Well raced by Kennet and always great to get a day in the leaders jersey!
Susprisingly bad from Coquard :/ Thats scary for Spark and the position I predicted them in

Let's go! Portugal was one of the races being targeted once I saw Kennett up for grabs. Gotta feel a bit for Jak, woeful sprint from Coquard.
Thanks for the report!

3rd is okay for Vesely. Seeing he lost the wheels is not perfect. Then again, the sprint train(s) here for my team couldn`t have been very strong anyway. Not supposed to follow his train here at all. Better hang behind Kenneth/Coquard etc.
Congrats on the win and thanks for the report! |

Reis finishing in the front group is all that mattered on this stage.

Mighty impressive Kennett! Congratulations again, wj
Also shows what could have been with yellow on his shoulders for Kragh, I feel, but that will be for another season, I hope. Romo active and forcing the first proper selection was cool! Hoping he can continue to be aggressive on the hilly stages, and who knows, a stage result could be possible. |

Congrats wj, what a race for you!
Rather annoying split there with Leknessund, Evenepoel and reis coming in with the puncheurs. On the other side, Herregodts and Adria sticking with the group plapp is appreciated.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Great racing from Remco. Too bad he didn't even get a podium, but if he continues like this he should be in for a good GC place.
