Sad from AKA. Just not in position to compete here. Without a time bonus on stage 3, this is gonna suck as his swan song. Resell getting in the break is nice. Just hope he can stay with the pack tomorrow to soak up a minor placing.

First stage was decent, second was pretty horrible. Hope Elias can work his magic on the next to get a better GC placing.

Horrible first two stages! Halvorsen has one more chance to finish the season somewhat decently, so can only hope.
Nice to have two self found Mexicans in one-two in white for now, but with everybody on s.t. that can change easily.
Thanks for the reports, Imladrik. No worries about coming a bit later, has happened to all of us. Hope the moving out/in went without too many unforeseen problems

What a race for PCT
The podium feels about right, Ewan definitely is an awesome rider to have in these uphill sprints. Just sad that his manager doesn't even enjoy his success...
Good racing by Cullaigh and Coquard, too, with Enger potentially getting big points for Tafjord.
Feeling for Assa, Oxxo and Carlsberg, all of Dainese, Halvorsen and AKA were just awful. Hoping this will improve with the new PCM, at least it can't get worse. Can it?
Thanks for the reports!

Would obviously have dreamt of something else than going from 1st to 5th, but we always knew that going into the stage. We really can’t complain about those 3 on the podium who are all significantly better sprinters. Would have like to beat Enger.
The thing that hurts the most, however is the horrible depth results. It’s like our team just didn’t show up at all.
All in all, a better result than we expected, so that’s all good.

I'm happy to see Enger deliver a big result for Tafjord

How are we not winning this race, outrageous etc
Nah, good to see Bonifazio is still his normal self. He actually got 3x top 10, but it's better to get 1 big result and two bad ones. Congrats to ISA and a big thanks to Imladrik for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yet another bailout from Liu on the last stage, pushing him onto 9th in GC. Icing on the cake is the 13th place from Chatarunga, lucky to get in the break two times.
Thanks for the reports, Imladrik!

Thanks, 4th place here in a PTHC is an amazing result for us, with well over 100 points scored in a race we didn't expect much. Really vital for our survival chances!
Thank you so much Imladrik for racing this, great reports all 3 stages! |

We didn't expect a lot. Three in the Top 20 and the U25s win is a decent return from this race.
Thanks for the reports!

Solid result from Jakobsen on the 2nd stage but a rather poor showing on the final stage meaning 7th overall which is a fairly decent result all things considered.

pretty terrible from AKA. Sucks that he faded at the end and just missed the top 10, so he ends up "best of the rest" instead of getting a time bonus that gives him a GC spot. Would have been better to have one good stage and not sprint the other two, as getting 11-14 every stage gets you nothing. Luckily Resell saves that a little bit.
Overall, standings aside, it just sucks that AKA couldn't show himself one more time.
Thanks for the great reports!

6th is as good as it gets for Afewerki here. Good amount of points to hopefully not drop off in the rankings. Thanks for the reporting ImLadrik

Ahlstrand ending on a low. Eighth in the GC is not that bad though.
Thanks for the reports Imladrik!

Cullaigh pretty consistent over the three days means 2nd in the points and overall. Not bad going at all and good to see that the top 3 favourites all did pretty well here.
No real depth scoring isn't ideal but this race could've been so much worse so I'll take what we got here.

Tinkoff not scoring big keeps the title race alive! They already had a sizeable 1.23 PpRD gap at the latest ranking update, so a big result here and in East Midlands would've made them very difficult to beat.
