Hum... 13th is an OK-ish outcome for Theuns, but if Sulimov can win the race, Eddie could have been there as well... Also finishing behind all of Polanc, Siric and in particular van der Poel and Pidcock definitely is disappointing, and I don't really see why Theuns should lose out to the two latter. But I guess he still wasn't the biggest loser here ^^
Well, it was the first cobbled race of the season, and a rather unpredictable one, let's hope the next ones are more to our liking. At least we just got our target score thanks to Paprstka and Küng finishing inside the Top 50 as well - wouldn't mind them to be more active next time, though.

Congrats to Tinkoff, thanks for the report.

Was hoping for a good start to the cobbled season after a slow start from Gerts in the hills. Unfortunately, 9th is not the kind of result we wanted.

Don't have much to say about a cobbles race where Rutsch only gets mentioned for dropping early.

Cool to see Pidcock in this, he really tried! And an amazing surprise win for Tinkoff, congrats Oleg.
Thank you Imladrik. Smile

Hey! Apologies for my absence!
Between being busy and basically constantly sick, I feel behind schedule to follow the early races live, and then my ADHD ass kicked in and faltered under that ever-growing backlog again.
I'm back for the Giro and hopefully everything after, and I want to reiterate I'm still very much committed to this game long-term if you want me around.
Happy New Year!

Sulimov is like good wine, getting better with age. Signed in 2013, in the beginning of his career supporting Gusev lateron Senechal and Kamyshev.

In his 10th year at Tinkoff he already had an amazing peak by getting second at Milano San Remo 2022 and now at the age of 33 he finally was able to celebrate on his own during the best day of his career: Winning Strada Appia Antica 2024!

Many thanks to Imladrik for making this one of the most memorable reports for Tinkoff. Thanks for all the congratulations, also great picture ->
