Out of all the cobbled classics this one probably suited us the least. We didn't manage to finish with all 8 riders and we didn't get a good result from Siric or Poljanec. Worst cobbled race performance, but we're done with them now.

Nice to see Gerts get a big win, congrats Smile

I'm happy that we tried something different here than just getting dropped early somewhere along the way, even though it amounted to nothing as it appears to be very clear that early breakaways are extremely doomed in this version even compared to earlier ones.

In the end, we get pretty much nothing of value out of the entire cobbles season except for seeing that Nieuwenhuis is apparently very well-suited to at least showing our jersey, and that Rutsch definitely will lead the team next season looking at how he's already pretty much on Meiler's level now, who I'm pretty disappointed with.


Congrats to alex for a deserved monument win at the wrong monument! Pfft
Gerts really didn't show up yet this year and seems to have just saved his best for last.

Nothing extraordinary here, but much better than Ronde.

Amazing report whitejersey. stunning screenshots. About the race itself; what a weird early attack by Senechal and not one rider in the top-10 just to emphasize how bad this year's cobble races are (at least for us)...

Glad I didn’t see this result first, as would have had low expectations for the rest of the cobbled classics. About right for Salzmann on these parcours, but quite disappointing from Vermeersch. Thanks for the report!
