Pretty good TT, seems like both Warbasse and Boswell did well when compared to similar riders. Also great ride by Mohammad to take some stage points. Now we need the next stages to be hard enough to get rid of the lower hill guys ahead of us. Hopefully we wont do too much chasing and can keep our powder dry.

It looks like we have perfected the "use the entire team on hilly stages and come away with next to nothing from it" strategy
So Pavlic is our GC leader now? I guess any rider with a half decent TT is better than Beltran

Dennis survives, but a shame to see Brown lose time. If the Australian remains third I'll be satisfied, but there's still hope to move up.

Somehow I missed that I was in this race. Apologies to all who have worked on it. I was thinking it was C2 for some weird reason.
Gonna comment stage by stage:
Stage 1
Obviously very happy with Trentin's top 5 on stage 1. Completely unexpected for a guy with 73 sprint, so I will always take that. Everybody else was safe too, good stage.
Stage 2
Kamna with another supbar TT performance really stings though. I'm not sure what's causing it, but he hasn't lived up to his potential at all this season. Time and time again he falls flat against the clock when it's supposed to be his main talent. With the game switch next year, maybe things will be different. But until then, I guess we'll just have to deal with the disappointment. Warbasse basically losign the same amount of time is pretty frustrating too - another guy with worse skills who used to underperform in TT's for us, but does well here. Still, 4th from Belevics was nice and Eg always seems to stick around.
Stage 3
Okay, Kamna. This is like the 3rd or 4th time this season he's bombed the TT only to come storming back and way overperform his climbing ability. Seems like he had a really good day, and the team properly sacrificed guys like KHJ to give him a chance. The daring solo move was another classic attack, and what a way to more than make up for yesterday.
Stage win in our pocket, and now we're set up very nicely on the GC. Two very tough stages left and we just expended a lot of energy, but obviously this is a much better spot than we could have hoped for, especially with Eg also in 7th. Goal has to be to conserve and stay close now. Having KHJ as a superdomestique with hopefully help, but mainly we need daily form luck. I really want to at least keep Kamna in the top 5 and Eg in the top 15 now, but it will be tough if his hill stat comes back down to earth.
Thanks for the reports thus far!

Honestly a bit surprised that Uwizeyimana and Hadi were both well positioned and strong enough to stay with the GC contenders. 8th and 11th is really solid and Uwizeyimana might even have a bit more in him on the climbs to come. Looking good so far!

Good that Warbasse stayed up front on the stage that probably suits him the least. Pity that Boswell lost all that time in the last few k. Really must have worked hard keeping Warbasse in position as that stage that should have been his sweet spot. Of course his old friend Eiking bombed far worse presumably working for Lunke.
Thanks for the report. Great ride by Kamna and congrats to BBl.

Roman is alive and riding for Cedevita, huh? About time!!
Not nearly enough time gained on this stage from a GC perspective, but given the weird Beltran/Pavlic leadership dynamic. Yes that's the point we've gotten to
I guess this stage could've gone much worse also.
Hopefully we can do something more on the last stage to salvage the race.

Thanks for taking up this race and for the reports so far Abi.
Don't really get what we're doing here; We have plenty of attackers, but keep sending the worst ones. And we don't even have much experience to get, this time...

Congrats rod on a good win! Great stage for his team overall with Beltran third on the stage too.
GC fight is going to be intense on the final stage between Dennis and Dunbar being on s.t. at the moment!

Dennis beating Dunbar and Kamna here was not on my bingo card but here we are in the yellow jersey. Obviously not getting excited because we have one stage to go and finishing behind Dunbar is already a KO, but fingers crossed

Noticed that our Jersey is the l'Avenir variant?
Will that be changed back to the correct one in the future?
Nice to see Lunke doing good when Eiking is fumbling hard in this one. Roson doing work aswell. Goodie good.

Sorry, my bad. Forgot to switch back before playing this race. Others shouldn't have this problem though as the change was done only on my system.

No worries at all, it's kind of cool to have several variants in year actually
Thank you for all your hard work in the game sir.

Fun race to follow as an outsider. Cedevita on a roll lately, winning the stage with a third as well, 6th and 10th in GC, leading teams and U25... Wow.
One thing I feel I've read too much in this race is Eiking dropping very early, which is a shame. Hope he can join the break on the final stage and take it home.
GC battle should also be fun tomorrow, good luck to all. Great reports so far, Abhi

I can taste that sweet sweet KoM Jersey! But it's not as good a taste as you would find from a long glass of Mount Gay Rum, served over ice, with a dash of ginger ale and twist of orange. Mount Gay Rum, powering the taste of Victory #ad

Jesus that was a brain dead attack from Dunbar trying to go with two much stronger puncheurs - they have nothing to do with the GC! I hope he didn’t burn all his energy cos he’s gonna need it tomorrow. Crazy both him and Dennis are on s.t, tomorrow looks like more of a small mountain stage so will be interesting to see how things play out. Potential MT stat also brings Kamna right back into it too. End of the day we’ll just be happy with a podium.
Hugely disappointed with the rest of the team after the first few stages. Setiawa, Silva et al. have been non-existent when they’re good enough to at least be protecting Dunbar. Shithouse.
Thanks for the reports Abhi, and good to see Cedevita get up after Beltran’s continued run of bizarre form

As expected, a bit of a tough rebound stage for us. Kamna lost his helpers early and couldn't stick with the best up the final climb. That's more than understandable given his skillset. Unfortunately though, it comes at the expense of two GC positions. Plus a lot more for Eg, who's down to 13th. Still satisfied if we can end up in these spots, but it will be tough.
Hopefully eeryone is right that stage 5 will invoke the mountain stat a bit more, as that obviously helps both Kamna and Eg as stage racers. KHJ has been a no show anyway, so might as well go full mountain mode now.

Not great from Warbasse despite Boswell sacrificing himself. Getting dropped early was a nightmare from which he recovered, but at what cost. This is the stage he should have gained time on the likes of Kamna.
Have to say 8th is the outside of my hopes particularly given Boswell could be a lot higher if he rode for himself (although he could be Eiking so can't complain too much).
Good news is he doesn't need to gain that much time to move up a few slots. So hoping he chooses the last stage for his big day.
Congrats to Red, a well timed attack and nice ride from Roman.

Another sorry race for Beltran, but that's broken news by now
Luckily in what is also a normal occurance now, the rest of the team pulls through in his absence. If dirt cheap riders compared to him can always finish ahead of him then I guess it's only fair that one of my own also does that. Pavlic outscoring him still seems a bit stupid though.
Roman's stage win, Ardila U25 win and teams win in the end gives us a good amount of points scored, but I can't shake the feeling we're leaving so much more on the table. But oh well. I'll just continue hype up the team's depth instead
Thanks for the reports and congrats to the Minions who can't do anything wrong it seems
