This might have been our best chance to compete for a top 3 stage result, but both Christodoulos and Groselj failed
Maybe we can keep U25 jersey for one more day to tack on some of the points we missed out on.

Hmm. Given he's got the worst prologue stat of the bunch, losing less than 10 seconds to David and Benoot and even gaining some time on Trentin is solid. Still, being around a minute behind the top leaders could leave him vulnerable to some surprises. We'll see. I doubt tomorrow is going to lead to any serious gaps, but maybe Joeri can do something in the sprint. It's a weird sprinting field, so anything from bonus seconds to not sprinting at all is certainly possible. Should be interesting!

Good stuff from Stoltz but disappointing as usual from Dumoulin. Benoot doing fine given his prologue capabilities.
Congrats to Laurens and thanks for the report Ulrich

Senni definitely not as good of a prologue as last year, let's hope the AI doesn't confuse our leaderhsip now.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not a bad result given the circumstances. Hopefully the boys can produce some magic in the coming days. Congrats to the winners

Keeping Christodoulos in white for another day is about the best we could've done here. I doubt if we have any GC options although you never know in this race. Otherwise it would be better to go in the breakaway.
A shame Saber couldn't come up with a win.

TvA not sprinting, Benoot barely hanging on. Not how we hoped we start the road stages for this one. At least we're still in the GC fight but we need the team to improve.
Thanks for the report

Well, I didn't think Guerao would survive the hills either, so I'd hope he would not bee one of the favorites...
Now maybe we can be a bit more agressive in the coming stages and keep sprinting for the real flat stage.
Thanks for the report, there's still hope!

Slightly confusing stage. I expected Stallaert might not sprint if he's viewed as strictly a GC rider, but then why go for the intermediate sprint? Was in ~12th position within the final 2km and then gets passed by almost everyone in that group to finish 48th? 15th or 50th doesn't really matter in this case, but still, bit weird.
Overall though, it's great to gain time on David and Trentin, so I'll still call this a success. I don't envy those two when they're confronted by their managers ...
Tomorrow might already be the decisive stage for us. I really hope it's not too tough and Joeri can hang on as close to the front as possible. The puncheur field here isn't super strong with the exception of McCarthy and Benoot, so I'm hopeful, but at the same time not super optimistic.

Senni survived, that's all that matters I guess. Congrats Kraftwerk!

Banger stage, banger report, Benelux Challenge is back!
Would have been lovely to get Daniel into 8th just go get that 1 extra point but Vingerling and Rowe making the best of a messy sprint that's for sure!
Big challenge tomorrow, hopefully Oscar can make the break because I am still a bit sus on whether or not the rest of the squad survives the hills tomorrow!
Thanks for the report!

Haller is Kraftwerk's only real threat here and he delivered big time, stage win and 2nd in GC. Best possible outcome in what could have been a zero pointer.
Thanks for the congrats and for the great report Ulrich.

It seems confirmed that this race is still kind of glitched in terms of understanding who favorites should be and what they should do.Obviously thankful at this point that I sent Guldhammer since Trentin looks like a lost cause already, among some other cobblers. Tomorrow is a huge day for him then as we hope to drop some of the cobblers and keep Rasmus where he needs to be heading into the cobbles.
It was nice to see Lander attentive and getting 4th as well.

A bummer to see Scotson not "contending" (or having a very bad day) after his good opener, but again a good stage result today. Two consecutive 2nd places kinda hurt, but it's solid points for now. Interesting to see McCarthy hanging on in the front group.

Work all day, Guldhammer somehow gets dropped on mild hills. What a game we have here.

Weird stuff. McCarthy nowhere to be seen in this stage, for which he came for, finishing alongside Bewley, whom I didn't expect to finish in the front group. So quite a disappointing stage result (from McCarthy), but Bewley puts himself in a promising GC position.
