Very decent consistency by Abdul Halil, can't ask much more from him. Thank you for another nice report and congratulations on two in a row to Scorchio

Bouglas couldn't deliver unfortunately, but it's really nice to see it working well for ISA, eventhough it's kinda strange to see the leadouts take the glory. I had that on one occassion too almost with Bouglas leading out Coquard

Thanks for the preview and the first two stage reports Imladrik. It looks like we are going to have a ISA opening week
Banaszek twice in the top-5 is pretty good.
Six riders who rode the Giro will also be riding the Vuelta for Tinkoff (Uran, Mamykin, Rybalkin, Foliforov, Trakhov and Banaszek). No GC ambitions this Grand Tour -> no Sivakov (and Strakhov). Vlasov and Kanerva will complete our Vuelta squad, meaning we are going after stage wins, break aways and maybe the mountains classification. I really hope most of the hilly stages will be open for stage hunters; good luck everybody!

Thanks for the nice preview and the first two stage reports!
Probably the weakest GT squad I send this year. It is lead by Sosa and I hope he can give it a fight for the white jersey and maybe some stages. In the hills we bring a triple threat with also Sarawut and Quita. Latter already knows how to win a GT stage maybe he can do it again.
The start was already quite decent with Salazar getting to wear the white jersey.
Very impressive stuff from ISA, congrats Scorchio! |

Bouglas tries his best, but I would have hoped to see him pick up minor points atleast on a day-to-day basis. Just outside the top 10 won't quite cut it.
One more shot before moving out of his terrain. It would be sad to see him leave the race with just 15 points from the sprints. Let's see if a top 5 can be achieved tomorrow, and then a top 10 again on stage 8 and 21 to get something like 25-30 points atleast.
Soon it's time for breakaways hopefully though, but it will probably be a dog fight seeing how many teams have adjusted their teams here.
Congrats on the hattrick Scorchio. What a race so far!

What a GT this is for ISA. Thank you for another nice report from a sprint stage, Imladrik!
Looking forward to the next three stages now. Very curious to see if Preidler gets threated like a GC rider or a stage hunter. Fingers crossed it's at least one of them! |

This is going ISActly as Scorchio planned I guess. Too bad we couldn't fulfill that expectation for ourselves as well. Let's see how the ramped up version of this race pans out now. Cheers and thanks again for all the reports Imladrik!

Thought that was a stage for the breakaway, but apparently not. And thus, we're fine not being represented in the breakaway group. Though, that's definitely worrying for what's to come on the next stages, as I hope we try to be aggressive and put riders up the road.
Congratulations, jaxika! |

Not quite optimal for 2/3 of my GC guys to lose time, but they did so controlled and Chiarello was fine in the end. I would have hoped maybe to see him fighting for a better stage result, but let’s see in the future.
Morin gave it a go. On paper a pretty good Stage for him, but he wasn’t all that strong in the end.

We are tactical geniusses. Wow. Why are we chasing again in a GT instead of sending somebody into the break?

Glad how this first hilly stage panned out. Hopefully the rest of them will become jsu as irrelevant for the GC. Congrats on the win jaxika!
Onto the mountains now!
