Vesely doing well in an uphill sprint? This season is all over the place.

Not a great sprint from Grosu there. Surprised we put someone in the breakaway, but I'm not complaining.

Certainly not the ideal start with the finish indeed being tailor-made for Demare, but I really can't complain about 12 bonus seconds to start the race with after what easily could've been an absolute no-show with that positioning lottery.
The first two stages can only serve to set up the decisive final day anyway, a good or bad day there has so much more influence on the GC result than missing out on a better result here.
Ideally, Arnaud can add another 5-10 bonus seconds tomorrow and remain within range of the GC win on stage 3.
Beating van der Lijke and Eislers, no matter for what position in particular, would mean no rider can move further than 25 seconds away.
And even if it doesn't work out like this, we haven't set the race as a sponsor goal anymore, so with great scoring ever since Tirreno, we can afford some mediocre results before the GTs start.
Sagan continues to drive Moser back to the top spots, congrats Roman!

Good that we tried getting someone in the break. No end result, but hopefully we'll try again. Interesting sprint, with the more "hillier" guys taking advantage of the finish. Congrats to Roman on the win!

Okay, THIS is unacceptable. (but then again, entirely predictable...)
The AI absolutely disregarded Demare two days in a row, I just hope this doesn't translate to tomorrow.
Third place tomorrow still guarantees us 4th overall, so that's the goal. I would certainly like to see Demare at least be allowed to play the puncheur card, considering he's obviously not a sprinter here.

Some horrible days for us from some of the best riders in the game. I’ll best log out before I lose it.
I’ll appreciate some sort of Xmas present tomorrow…

Grosu saved faces a bit in the last meters there, but it was still a pretty poor sprint from him. Doesn't usually happen for him to have two misses in a row.
Interesting that we put someone in the breakaway again. Guess they will both get some points in the KoM rankings now, but given their stats, I doubt they can actually contest for the top spot.

2nd solid or good day by Eislers but the crucial day is still ahead. If he can avoid any time losses tomorrow, ill be happy with this race.
Looks like the game avoided any splits so far. Thats good for the case where we dont have full results yet but is not ideal for a team build on the back of strong rouleurs like we are. But it doesnt look like the rest of the team was well positioned anyway.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Vesely's trademark, starting too early and fading away towards the end

So glad the other teams don't allow Xero riders in the breakaway, because obviously Houle is doing such an elite job at missing the top 13 every day so we might be threatening them even more

More or less copy paste from the first stage for us. Looks like we had some riders near the front, so hopefully they will do the same in the final stage.

I have three options here with Mohoric, Gidich and Hsu. So far it's not ideal but two top 10s after two stages is not too bad. I hope in the last stage at least Mohoric and Gidich can improve from their current position. |

Disappointed to see that Gerts didn't help Grosu, but didn't go for glory himself either. Who would have thought Erdenesuren would be the rider who put in the most effort in this race from our team.
Thanks for the reports and for trying to piece together the rankings.

Super disappointed with the stage. Eislers somehow couldnt stick to guys like Coquard or Hsu so we leave this race pretty empty handed once again. Still hoping for the final GC to reveal some sort of minor gc result but yeah, not optimistic based on the screenshots throughout the stage.
Congrats to Croatia, Isostar seems to be on a roll!
Thanks for the reports, the lack of full results barely impacted the understanding of what went on! |

Gaviria getting a kind of revenge for Sanremo with a great race. Congrats on the win, Croatia!
Looked like we lacked both legs and positioning towards the end, so no big result, but good to see Ringheim getting in the break and securing some points for us.

Thanks for the report. This was much better than anticipated which makes up for the poor Stage 2.
Also a merry xmas to everyone. May you have a good one!

Aw man, just inches from the stage win and second overall!
Still I'm content with fourth in the GC, as it played out exactly as I predicted, with a stage podium to finish the race. This consolidates our pprd going into the GT season.
Madouas with a good ride to make it into group 2 and into a great spot in the U25s, that should be another 30-40 points depending on the countback.
Thanks cunego for thrilling reports!
And congrats to IzzZZzzZzostar yet again.
Merry Christmas!

Awesome Teamwork, I Love this. Lutsenko interestingly doing full support duties but this time well deserved. Gaviria takes home the bacon with a revenge for some questionable performances before, very well played.
