Someone told me prologue stat would actually have an impact even in TTs up to 25km. Tom Scully obviously didn't get those news and got beaten by <60 TTers. The team management has decided that if he doesn't deliver something useful tomorrow, he'll have to take his bike to ride to the next race in Hungary, so he actually finally does something.
All in all, the outcome is pretty much what we could expect from a TT. The only bummer is Bissegger dropping out of the Top 8 in the U25 standings - given that Valter, who's definitely not a stronger TTer, is currently 3rd, that must be considered a pretty bad performance by our newcomer.
We'll take the KoM points (hopefully), maybe a stage result tomorrow and will likely not come back here before having a decent TTer. But for a pretty bad planning mistake, we still take an OK amount of (lucky) points home.
Congrats to Repsol for the stage win and a great team result! And thanks to Nemo for a very nice TT report Pretty relaxing to read when you don't have any notable expectations from your team

Not really much to add to yesterday's comment, just relieved that the race is over and we secure all this points.
Zmorka is doing great so far, 2nd in Jelajah and now GC here. Things look great for him to beat the 1000-point mark easily at this rate

Mottin is absolutely useless. Another bad race for us.
Thanks for the reports Nemo and congrats to the winners

I absolutely can’t complain with the results from the team here!
Robert 6th in the GC is a great result and a podium stage finish from Avelino was unexpected too.

Mixed feelings about this one. While I take 2nd place in KOM, U25 and teams happily, I don´t like huge underperformance of Viennet and partially Mullen. They both should finish at higher places.
Thanks Nemo for reports and congrats to Repsol.

Achieved the goal of 3 riders in top 30, but I don't think we got 100 points. Guerao kept getting himself into the sprint for the win but couldn't finish the job. At least it wasn't a complete bust

I mean, a Stage Win and Points is really the bare minimum of expectation and don't cover for two poor sprints and two below level tt's from AC.
At least our jersey continues to look f*cking awesome! And we can always see ourselves failing.

Quite happy with this race, Fiedler doing as well as we could expect and Guardini being up there in every sprint

Too bad Mundle couldn't at least hold Katrasnik's wheel - that guy's a beast... Well done, Gjensidige!
On the other hand, really disappointed by Scully. With 3km to go, he was right behind Kemboi, just to finish 41st in the end, even behind Merino Criado... That really doesn't bode well for his next races. It already went completely wrong in GORC, so either putting him and Mundle in the same race doesn't work out well, or he's just too weak. Time will tell.
Overall, I'm glad Mundle at least saved the race with the King of the "mountains" jersey.
Congrats to Repsol for a dominant win here, and thanks to Nemo for the reports!

I have a question about the stage 4 ITT.
In the profile thread it states "Stage 4 ITT more flat."
From what I have seen it's exactly the same as last year. Am I missing something here?

Well, this went a little worse than expected with Howson being so underwhelming. A very uneventful race for us in the end.
Congrats on the strong victory Aquarius. Zmorka's worthy winner indeed.
Lastly thanks for all the reports Nemo! What a great addition you've turned out to be!

Congrats to Aquarius and thanks for the great reports Nemo.
After their visit to the Linnaeus Museum the team got down to business with new boy Bol getting in the break.
Very pleased with a 5th place on GC for Schädlich, a great improvement on last years performances for him.
Cav came from miles back to snatch a surprising 2nd place in the final sprint.
Hope this is a sign of good things to come.

I don't know tbh, also don't know who exactly corrected (or not?) that stage.
Thanks to all for the kind words again! I'll have a busy April in terms of reporting in the PCT, so you'll read a lot from me in the coming weeks

Another race and another podium for the GCN team! Jesse turning up when it matters and a nice 3rd on GC is great.
Well done Repsol
